Mypoints and Disney gift cards?

we are going to WDW in a month and I am a Mypoints member. When you do the clickthru to disneystore.com, it does NOT say 'gift cards purchases do not earn points' or anything like that (it does say that for other vendors).

Anybody know? I'm thinking of trying it anyway, coz we ARE going and it would be just as easy to use a disneycard as a credit card, imo.

Any help is appreciated.

Rewards sites are no longer allowed to give points for disney gift cards (they did a while back but stopped a year or two ago).

Honestly, I wouldn't do any shopping through mypoints anyway. I was never real successful getting shopping points through them, plus, they have canceled many people's accounts for no reason completely out of the blue. I was a member for 10+ years and had my account canceled without any reason or explanation. Be very careful with them and be sure to cash out as soon as possible. Don't let your points accumulate.

no you can't. Be careful with mypoints. I have had my account canceled because they said I had multiple accounts, which I didn't. I got it reinstated after alot of work doing so, and it was then canceled again for the same reason. I do gpt sites, and evidently, even if you skip any offers that ask about mypoints, they still send you an email to join...and even though you don't ever click those emails, they consider it another account. I have griped and moaned to them and they refuse to reinstate it. I just wanted my last amount of points to cash out and be done with them, but they won't even do that.
I was a member for over 10 years, and very disappointed with them now. And I'm not the only one, this has happened to 100's of people in the last year.
