Mypoints 10 purchases = $20 gift card?

I recently made the 10 required purchases for mypoints to get a $20 gift card....the problem is I have no idea how I go about getting it. There's nothing to click on, it just says I have 10 purchases for the $20 gift card.

hmmm i do mypoints and there is nothing about a required number of purchases. You earn points per transaction. and the amount of points you earn lets you trade in for Gift cards.... To do that you go to my account and click on redeem

Its a new thing they're doing, I remember seeing an e-mail about it a little while back, but I haven't made enough purchases to have any personal experience with redemption yet. I would assume, though, that there will be a delay between qualification and redemption similar to the delay in points crediting for purchases.

I also got an email about this a while back, except it specified getting a $10 gift card when I made 5 purchases. well the bar graph they have up on my account summary shows I made 4 purchases, so just 1 more until I'm there. I just clicked on the Terms and conditions link under it, and it says that awards will be issued as points. So my guess is that they give you the equivalent of the number of points that would be required to get a $10 gift card, and then you just redeem for whichever one that is.

I got the 5 purchases for $10 and completed them a couple of months ago. Once your points from all of your purchases go from pending to available you will receive the extra points equal to a $10 gift card.

It confused me at first also, but I figured I would wait and see what happened once all my points from the purchases switched to available instead of pending and bahm, I got the extra points added!

I also use My Points as often as I can but never heard of this. I'll be looking into this tonite. Hope it's not like the credit card *** do, and send offers to only some. Most likely those who don't use it much, to incourage the use.
This would be great, if it works for me!
