I have been a memeber for a while now and most of the time I get my points with little effort. Now sometimes I have had to email them but other then that it has been fine. Well I have felt that this past year that something was a miss like I was missing some points but couldnt figure it out. So my points have remained low but I couldnt recall for the life of me what it was. Well I was answering some emails and I look at the bottom of the email and it shows your account balance. Well it had 1800 more points available then I believed that I had. Great news!!!! So I check my account and low and behold it shows I have pending points. These points are from LAST March. But the points wont be available until the end of this March. That is a whole year. So I sent them a note and here is there response.

"Our records indicate that the Points(1,232) you referred to have been
posted to your account on 03/08/2004 for LL Bean.

These points should be available for spending on 03/18/2005. Sometimes
there is a waiting period before your Points become available for
spending, this is because some awards require verification before they are
transferred to an account. "


Has anyone else had to wait a YEAR for LLBean to post?

Dont get me wrong I am thankfull that maybe sometime in March I will get the points I need but this is crazy.

No, I never had to wait a year. But I have had to e-mail them a lot more lately to get points for purchases credited. A year seems way out of line.

Maybe thaty's why my balance is different from what's available. I have pending points also and couldn't figure out what they were for. I did buy some things from LL Bean, so maybe that's it.

I haven't waited a year, but last year I had on-going problems with points not being credited. I did not receive credit for purchases made through the MyPoints site for three Disneystore.com purchases and one Neiman Marcus. I must have sent them over 30 e-mails trying to rectify the situation. Finally after six months(from the date of the purchase), I received credit for the purchases. I have found this year that they have been much better with crediting my Disney purchase but it still takes too long for the points to become "available to spend."

I have not gotten credit for several Disney Store purchases, either, as well as QVC. I can't remember to bug them, so I now just try to remember (which I forgot today) to shop through EBates.
