MyFitnessPal and walking at DL?

Does anyone track through this app at DL? While I know I'll be way over my calorie count (I'm GONNA have a churro), I'd like to keep tracking just to keep consistent.

Is it any good for DL food?

Also, how do you factor in your walking? I know we'll be doing TONS of it but just wondering how best to estimate distance/pace.
 
They don't give their calorie counts, so you won't actually find the stuff in there. But if you've been using the app for awhile you can generally figure out what size hamburger party and bun you had or know what a serving is of most things.
 
I personally lost 90 pounds before my DL trip using my fitness pal. Love the app. When I went to DL I figured with all the walking I would reward myself and eat what I want and not keep track. After 5 days at DL I had not gained a pound and I ate reallllllllyyyyy gooooood!!!!
 

I can't speak to the calorie counting at Disney. But for my last two trips to WDW and for the trip to DLR resort that I just returned from, I wore a Garmin Vivofit to count my steps. For my Disneyland/DCA days, I averaged about 27k steps per day. That was with arriving at rope drop, staying 'til around 2ish, back to the hotel for 3ish hours, then back in the parks from 5:30 or 6:30 until close to closing time around 11. I had always wondered how much walking I really did when visiting Disney parks and I love how easy an activity tracker makes it to find out out.

I think you mean reallllyyy baaaaaad! LOL ;)
 
I usually get at least 25k steps per day, which would probably add another 1,000+ calories or so on MFP. I like to eat my breakfast at the hotel and bring lunch, so I can save my calories for the snacks. :teeth:
 
I bet SOMEONE has entered calories for that stuff. I'd be shocked if they didn't. I dunno if any of you have one but I plan on taking my fitbit. I can't wait to see my step count. It works great with myfitnesspal too.

That's what I do--use my Fitbit in conjunction with MFP. I love logging in and seeing all those extra calories!
 
Just eat all the food! :D I'll only be trying to make sure I reach 10k on my fitbit and anything over will justify all the food I plan to eat :)
