Myers-Briggs Personality Types

I am an ESFP... "ESFP: Entertainer. Radiates attractive warmth and optimism. Smooth, witty, charming, clever. Fun to be with. Very generous. 13% of the total population."

I share the title with Ronald Reagan, Elvis Presley, Elizabeth Taylor, Mary Lou Retton, Bob Hope AND...

HOMER SIMPSON. :duck:

At the moment I can't remember what I was when I took the test. It has been a while so maybe I need to take it again. But it's late now so I'll have to wait and take it later.

But I had to say that at first I started to post that I am an IMDB. :rotfl: Think I've been using that site too much lately? :rotfl2:

I can make it come up all XXXX's. ;)
It's a nice test, but it honestly doesn't have a lot of validity. Take it with about the same level of seriousness that you take an online personality test.

I didn't click on that link, but I've taken Myers-Briggs at two different workplaces and came up ENTJ both times.

That was fun :) I'm an INJF and it sounds like me to me. I'll have to ask my family if it sounds like me to them.

Not quite sure what it means though.

It's been several years since I took the Myers-Briggs, but I was either an INFJ (the Confidant) or an INFP (the Dreamer).

I'm an INFJ. OnLY 1% of the population are this type.

I took this at work some years ago and I am an INFJ as well!!

Me too! When I took this test (several diff w/ the same result) it explained so much to me. All of a sudden I could see why I was having problems at work. They want me to be a leader, I don't want to be an overt leader. I prefer to influence behind the scenes. Why does a software developer need to be an overt leader anyway? I've been struggling to work outside the box... but it's really really hard.

I actually use planning a trip to Disney as an example when I explain the difference between being a "P" and a "J" in my classes.

A "P" just goes with the flow and enjoys being there and a "J" plans every detail of the trip - where they are going to eat, what rides they are going to ride, etc. I think the Dis has more "J"s. :rotfl:

I'm definitely a P at the parks. :) I do plan stuff like the ADRs I really want, but that's about it. on vacation I don't really want to have to be anywhere. Maybe I plan in that I plan to do nothing!
