Ok so I want to surprise my wife with the HEA dessert party. I already booked it but it wanted me to enter the name of everyone in my party when I made the reservation. So I put my wifes name without thinking it would link to her MDE account. The good thing is she rarely signs into that so before she does I wanted to get this fixed.


Now my question is: if I put in a different name for the reservation with me and disconnect my wife from the reservation, will that pose a problem when we check in for the party? The other option would be....is there any way to hide the reservation from her account?

I just checked a dining reservation we have in November. There was a "change party" link, and when I clicked on it, I could have removed anyone in my family except me, and replaced them with someone else. Your name has to stay on there, because you made the reservation, but the second person can be anyone. It requires first and last name and age for the person you are adding (I made up a name and it saved it). I don't think the dessert parties are any different - as long as you show up with the same number of people, you're fine.

You will be fine - when we booked HDDR we had to put names and I put a few fake names because we were surprising someone and they never checked names when we checked in - just how many people were there. As the PP said - as long as your name is there and you check in you will be fine. Just make a fake name in your MDE.

You don't have to enter any names. It asks for them but it isn't required.

I don't think it will show in her mde. I made all the reservations (adrs and fast passes) for dh and my two girls. I just set him up with mde on his phone and not a single thing showed bc it was all already linked to my mde.
