Day 6 7/25 Sunday......
I was a bit hesitant to get up that morning. I wasn't sure how tense it would be. My sister & niece had plans to meet up with her south Florida friends to go to Magic Kingdom.
I made them an 8:15 ps at Crystal Palace, so they were up early. While they were milling around the room, I pretended to be asleep.
Once they left, I got up & went to Mom's room to see if anything had occured after my DD & I went to Fantasia Gardens. My Mom ended up really laying into my sister about her attitude & they got into a huge argument.
My sister was angry because she didn't like the hotel, the food was too expensive & the parks didn't have enough rides. She didn't like that there weren't many shady areas in the parks to sit. She was mad because my niece wasn't getting to spend enough time with my daughter & my Mom......It was apparently one excuse after another & my Mom really let her have it.
I apologized to my Mom & mom just said that if she's that miserable, there's nothing we can do about it.......Mom's always know best.
My daughter & I spent a wonderful day at MGM. We had a great time. We planned to meet up with Mom & Dad in the evening & at about 4:30, Mom called my cell phone & said that there were taking my niece to Fantasia Gardens & wanted us to join them. My DD & I practically ran from MGM to Fantasia Gardens to find none of them there.
I called our room to see where they were & it turned out that Mom thought that Fantasia Gardens was a park with mini-golf & they ended up back at the Dolphin.
Needless to say, my DD & I were completely baffeled (and exhausted). My mom said that my sister's attitude had totally changed & that we should try it again.....(I was thinking "Oh No....here we go again")
We ended up plaing mini-golf, then back on the Boardwalk & sure enough, on the surrey bikes against my objections. (My niece wanted to go). I waited for them & they only made it once around the lake before giving up. We had dinner & Big River Grill. Big River Grill was just as bad as it was the last time we ate there. My Dad & I had the Beer Sampler....it was really good, but a bit much for dear old Dad.
I had the grilled chicken skewers with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. My chicken wasn't gooked all the way, but I really wasn't that hungry & decided to not worry about it.
After dinner, we played games on the Boardwalk & Mom was right, my sister's attitude had somewhat changed. She actually seemed like she was having a bit of fun.
Afterwards, we went back to the hotel & gor a really good, much needed night of rest.........
