Not a very creative name I know.

I have been on my diet since whenever I joined the Peeps thread, (about two weeks ago, I know I've been there for two weigh-ins,) and have been trying to stay under 1,800 calories a day, which I've been doing rather well at. So far I've lost a pound and a half, a pound at the first weigh-in, and a half a pound on yesterday's weigh-in.

My biggest weakness is snacking at night, since I work late, and we, (meaning me and my coworkers,) always buy snacks and share, and then we are munching on them all night. So even if I don't buy something myself, someone else will buy chips, cookies, crackers, etc, and then share them.

I am currently at 195.5 pounds, and my goal is 170 by June, and 150 by my next Disney trip, which is in September.

Lunch - Asian Vegetables w/ Noodles - 400 Calories
Snack - Pudding - 300 Calories
Snack - Cheese - 40 Calories
Snack - Leftover Asian Vegetables w/ Noodles - 100 Calories

Note - All calories are approximate.

This morning I woke up late, about 11:00 AM, since I had worked late. I had lunch at noon, and I was starving, since for once I hadn't snacked at work. I go to work in about an hour, (I really should be getting ready for work right now, and not posting, LOL,) but I've only had 840 calories so far today, so I'm still allowing myself almost 1,000 for the rest of the day, though I doubt I'll eat that much at work.

I only have one break to worry about today as far as eating goes, so if I just get a Lean Cuisine meal, (which are on sale this week, :goodvibes ) I should be able to stay under my alloted calorie amount.

Yesterday at work I ate much more then I should of. I had a Stouffer's panini, (not even a Lean Cuisine one, :sad2: ) which was 360 calories, plus some Doritos, since I was starving, they were 370 calories I believe. I reasoned with myself that I was done for the night then, and I wouldn't eat anything else. But then one of the ladies I work with bought cookies, and initially, when she asked me if I wanted one, I did say no, but I ended up having one anyway, (130 calories.) I also had two slices of deli turkey when I got home, (50 calories.)

So between the 840 calories I had before I went to work, and the 910 I had during and after work, I had a total of 1,750. So I did, once again, stay under 1,800. I thought for sure I would be over.

Today for breakfast I had Toaster Scramblers, I was "good" though, and bought the reduced fat ones, which actually taste better to me then the regular ones. I ate two, since one is not enough, and they were 300 calories for the two of them.

For lunch, which I haven't eaten yet, but I know what I'm having, so I'm including it now, I'm going to have chicken sandwiches. I have some tiny rolls, so I think I'll have two. The rolls are really really tiny, and only 110 calories each, and I can put an ounce of chicken in each sandwich, so two sandwiches will be a total of 270 calories. I'll have some fruit with the sandwiches, which depending on what I have will be about 100 calories.

So for lunch, instead of eating two sandwiches like I said I was going to, I actually had like four, except I burnt the rolls horribly, so I couldn't have eaten more then 300 calories worth, since they were small, and I had to scrape off the tops and cut off the ends. I HATE the taste of burnt bread. So I had a 350 calorie lunch.

This afternoon I had some cheese and crackers, (500 calories.) I figured out that if I count out the crackers, and then put the box away, I'll just eat what I got out and be able to keep track of exactly how many I'm eating. Still just fifteen small (Wheat Thin) crackers were still about 300 calories, and I ate just over an ounce of cheese, which is 200 calories. (It was actually probably more like 150 or 160 calories, and the crackers were 270 calories, but if I round up, I'll eat less.)

So today so far I've had a total of 1,150 calories. I never did eat any fruit with lunch, so I'll make sure to eat some with dinner. :)

So yesterday, (since my last post,) I had fruit (100 calories,) pasta, (200 calories,) and some steak and potatoes, (500 calories.) I also drank a whole liter of water at work, which I'm very proud of. I'm also sticking to my "one soda a day" rule.

Yesterday's calorie total was 1,850, so I was 50 calories over my maximum limit, but I'm not going to make that big a deal over it.

I skipped breakfast today since I slept late, and I had a dayshift at work for once, so I only ate lunch right before going in, which was pierogies, (400 calories,) and soup, (200 calories.)

I had some macaroni and cheese at work, (350 calories,) which I'm basing on the Stouffers one as far as calories go.

I have not had dinner yet, but I've had no fruit or veggies yet today, (except it was butternut squash soup at lunch, so there were some veggies in that,) and no protien, so I'm going to try and have a healthy dinner, which will be easy since I will not be at work. :)

You didn't put "comments welcome" in your title so I hope this is okay.I was on the wish journal page and saw your name.Thought I would say hello.:goodvibes

On Monday I had chicken wraps with taco sauce for dinner, as well as two brownie cookies. The cookies were 100 calories, not sure how many calories the wrap were, my best guess is that they were no more then 350 calories though.

Yesterday I had a Scrambler for breakfast, (150 calories,) a Lean Pocket for lunch, (300 calories,) pizza, (500,) and soup, (250 calories,) as well as some candy later in the night, (300 calories.) So yesterday's calorie total was 1,500 if I figured it out right.

I don't have an exact calorie count for yesterday, since it was my birthday, but I think I may have gone over 1,800.

I had a Toaster Scrambler in the morning, then went out with a friend for a late lunch, where we shared an apple salad, spare ribs, sweet potato fries, scallops, rissotto cakes, and creme brulee. We then went back to my house, where we had cake. I didn't eat again until much later that night, when I had another piece of cake. The only thing I know for sure is that the scrambler had 150 calories.

I'm not going to worry about not counting the calories yesterday, since it was my birthday, so I'm not going to make myself feel guilty about eating what I did. Though the food we had at the restaurant, was semi-healthy.

Today, I had two Scramblers for breakfast, (300 calories,) cheese quesadillas for lunch, (400 calories,) an orange, a baked pork chop and stuffing for dinner, (450 calories,) and another piece of cake. I'm going to assume 250 calories for the slice of cake, but that may be off, and 50 calories for the orange, so 1,450 total.

Yesterday I was over. I had leftover pork and stuffing for lunch, (450,) some pudding in the afternoon, (300,) then a hot pocket before work, (300 calories.) Now that wasn't too bad, but once I went to work I was starving, and stayed hungry all night. Unfortunatly we had all the Valentine's candy reduced, and there was a lot of dark chocolate for sale. Now if it was milk chocolate I could of passed it up, but it was dark.

I bought a bag of dark chocolate - cherry Three Musketeers, a bag of dark chocolate - strawberry Hershey kisses, and a tin full of dark chocolate Ghiradelli squares. I was good about portion control, I only ate two mini Three Musketeers, (50,) and one Ghiradelli square, (100,) but I also had pizza (350) and yogurt, (250.)

Now all of this wouldn't have been so bad if I had come home and gone to bed, but instead I went home and had cheese and crackers, (500.) So that's 2,300 yesterday total. Though I do round up all the numbers, (like when something has 180 calories, I round up to 200, so I can add it easier,) so it may have been closer to 2,200.

Today I had cereal for breakfast, (200,) pasta for lunch, (500,) cheese and crackers, (350,) and four mini Three Musketeers, (100.) So 1,150 so far, but I have work in a few hours, hopefully I just won't get the munchies again.

Let me try to get back to doing this. I was doing much better on my diet when I was writing down everything I was eating. My new goal is to to stay under 1,500 calories a day, and to add more fresh fruit and veggies to my diet, which I don't think I'm getting enough of.
