My Wish for PSU....

What were the repercussions, being raped?

I would lose my job before I would let a child be raped. I would hope most people would be able to take that stand.

I don't know why he didn't, I'm sure we will find out soon. I am so horrified by what happened to these children. If I were their mother, Sandusky would be dead, I would put a bullet through his brain.

nahhhh way to good for him, ship him off to jail for awhile... they'll take care of him... his retirement years are going to be SO relaxing for him ;)

See, I worry jail will be good for him, I bet he will love all the "attention" he will get there....

If he likes to dominate people (ie scared little boys) jail is NOT going to be a good place for a 70yr old guy... no one will be scared of him!

Not likely. Sandusky probably enjoyed the power trip over those young boys. The "gentlemen" who will "befriend" him in prison are likely to give him a whole new perspective. :scared1:

There is no handshake binding enough, there is no code of silence strong enough to keep me from protecting children from being abused. The true measure of a human is not the decisions made in front of roaring, adoring fans, it is the decisions made in the heart and the head with only yourself to qualify. To all who participated in these horrific abuses-either through acts, tolerence or lack of action-may you be held acountable on every front-today , tomorrow and when you meet your maker. The damage brought effects every student, teacher, athlete, family and child as well as the people who are reading about these acts. This horror will continue to play out for months and years to come. Let us take from this the lesson the we must all be held accountable to protect children -it is our duty, our responsability and our job. We must not protect the institution, we must protect the children.

I hope he is tortured. He should feel what those children felt every single day for the rest of his miserable life.

No one has any idea what MQ was thinking. He did tell JP, he voiced his concerns and the police already knew. I think he knew he better keep his mouth shut or suffer serious repercussions.

It is because of him that Sandusky will rot in jail. I don't think MQ is a monster, I bet he wished he did things differently back then. At the end of the day we must remember that Sandusky is the person who hurt these kids.

I don't think badly of Penn State because a sadistic monster was in their mist, the vast majority had no idea. The ones that did felt helpless when things had been reported and the other cheek turned.

We also must remember that McQueary DID NOT physically stop Sandusky from raping a child when he saw it with his own eyes and DID NOT go directly to the police and report it. I think badly of Penn State because those high ranking officials in the football program and university administration knew they had a monster in their midst and did nothing to stop it.

My uncle was a correctional officer in a state prison until he retired. He told me that even in prison, inmates have a "code of ethics"....they do not take kindly to people who hurt children and old people. Sandusky needs to watch his back....

I'm happy they lost. Maybe some of my anger is misplaced, but I couldn't help but be glad Joe's rabid supporters got another let down.

Yes because the 95,000 students that go to Penn State, the 110 members of the football team and the 100,000's of alumni are all responsible.
How dare they continue to breath, really the only honorable solution for anyone that has ever been related to Penn State is immediate suicide

They might want to start by nixing the banners in support of a rapist enabler and getting rid of his son as coach.

We do know that MQ wasn't thinking of saving that little boy. MQ is 6' 4" and weighs about 280, he could have easily STOPPED Sandusky. The fact that he just left is mind boggling to me. Even if he had stepped outside and called 911....but no, he left and the next day he went to JP? :sad2:

Excellent plan, even though there is not the slightest bit of proof his son is aware of anything let's just take his job.
Freedom of speech should also be crushed immediately

Honestly that bothers me far more than else in this whole situation. We can, have and will endlessly debate who knew what when and what they should have done but by his own admission he walked in on that and did nothing.
I don't undertand it and it's absolutely inexcusable IMHO.

He's supporting the rapist enabler, and those rooting for PSU today were rooting for a team whose members were wearing emblems of support for a rapist enabler. I support free speech. I support the right of these individuals to publicly support a child rapist. I'd support their right to speak in support of a Nazi. It doesn't mean I don't support my right to call them out on it and be happy they lost.

Yes, exactly. I initially thought maybe he was a small guy or a young kid himself..to find out he was a large man of 28...wow. He could have done a whole heck of a lot more. And they would have to pry my dead body out there before I was leaving that little boy behind with that slug.

Your right! He should just shoot his father and get it over with, after all it's been proven that his father did.. well we really don't know yet.
I'm a little confused on your next sentence was the team wearing some kind of emblem today?

During the game, Paterno's son, Jay, a normally low-key quarterbacks coach, punched the air and yelled, "Let's go!" and high-fived fans on the way into the stadium, ESPN reports. A few players appeared to have tears in their eyes, and three wore shirts that read "Joe Knows Football."

And after Penn State's loss, Jay Paterno broke down in tears as he told ESPN, "Dad, I wish you were here."
