Well, we are spending our 25th at DW also and plan to dine at Victoria and Alberts, so I would say that! On our 10th we did the Dolphins In Depth program at the Living Seas and for our 20th we rented a Mice boat and went all over the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, super fun and playful!
Maybe you could order a special cake or go to the spa. My suggestion is to do something you wouldn't normally do on any other day so that it is a special memory for your milestone anniversary. Oh, another idea, rent a pontoon boat on which to watch Illuminations. We are going to do that on our trip also. What about a Segway tour?
We loved the Behind the Scenes tour at the Magic Kingdom.
There's also the horse ride & a hayride at Ft. Wilderness Campgound.
At Ft. W. campground, we also like renting bikes or a golf cart & enjoying the ride thru the rv loops, riding the nature trail, etc., & rocking on the front porch at the Settlement while eating ice cream cones.
Congrats on both of your anniversaries. The previous poster has wonderful ideas and would make any anniversary memorable. If dining at Victoria and Alberts is a little too fancy, would suggest Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge as an alternative. If your thinking of something big and extra special, could check out giftsofalifetime.com or for flowers/gift baskets disneyflorist.com. Have a magical anniversary! Maybe you could give my husband these suggestions? Haha.
My husband and I just celebrated our 30th anniversary while at WDW. We had dinner in the Queen Victoria's room at Victoria and Albert (GF). If you both are serious foodies and want a wonderful, once in a life time dinner, this would be the ticket. It was a budget buster and we had to wear nice clothes (first time my husband has ever taken a suit coat and tie to WDW) but it was wonderful. We have rented the pontoon boat for Illuminations and that was a wonderful (and less expensive) memory. We had friends who arranged (thru Disney dining, I think) a limo to drive them to several resorts for a sort of progressive dinner (drinks at one, appetizer at another, entree at another, then dessert at another). There are so many opportunities for a great time......have fun and blessings on your celebration!
We have done a private dinner on the third floor balcony at the Grand Floridian twice. You don't have to be staying at the GF to arrange this. A butler meets you in the lobby to escort you. We picked out the menu by emailing back and forth with GF private dining.
We made sure to book the time right around the MK fireworks. We could also see the Electrical Water Pageant from our balcony. It was lovely. It isn't easy to eat alone in WDW so we really enjoyed this experience.
Yes! We did the private dining at GF also and it was beyond amazing! Failed to mention it in my previous post. Totally agree, SO many options for a magical anniversary. You will find the perfect idea! Soooo sweet to be planning so far in advance.
We are celebrating our 30th at POR this September. (Although not on the actual date) Seems the thing to do this year! I have not taken a carriage ride but have read that it is very nice and a great thing to do on your anniversary! It is 25 minutes and goes to POFQ and back. Very beautiful resort so the ride is very nice.
Congrats and may you celebrate your 50th and 75th there, too!
DH & I were there in April & did the carriage ride with Laurie & her horse, Thomas. We loved it. Had the choice of either going through POR or POFQ. We chose to Go through FQ as we'd never stayed there. It was nice, fun & very informative!! Enjoy!!
