I received my wedding video yesterday from STVS and it was fabulous Just the attention to detail and the way the video was done was amazing. I went home from work and watched it all night over and over... (I'm wondering if there's a support group I need to go to for help) ha ha ha

I would recommend that everyone have a wedding video and to have Stan at STVS do it!!!! We were once thinking that we would just do the pictures and not get a video but I am sooooo happy that we changed our minds as it was worth every penny we spent.

I would say it estimated around $900. But we had add-ons on our video, we added the Illuminations Dessert Party so Stan had to wait around after the reception till Illuminations, we also had a slow motion retrospective of the day, and we had it rushed because our Disney wedding was Sept 29 and our at home reception where we needed the tape is tomorrow Nov.1
We also got a copy of it on DVD.

I have a copy of Stan's latest price sheet, and weekday intimates starts at $575 (you can add-in), Intimate Plus (not Saturday) starts at $1150, and the rest start at $1650 and go up to $4200.

And all of these prices don't have any of the add-ins, such as the slipper reveal, or the pumpkin coach...

Doctor Tigger- I just watched your entire video and could tell immediately it was Stans work. His work does not compare to anyone else's. The detailing is incredible. I could watch every video he and his wife Bonnie takes. lol Speaking of support groups if you find one please let me know because my wedding was on May 3rd in Disney World and I as well received my video a short time after and let me tell you we watch the slow motion recap of the wedding just about everynight. (NOT JOKING) He chose the most perfect song for our wedding video my husband and I will sing it while watching the recaps. (We need a life. lol) I did listen to you song as well and again he chose a perfect one for you and your husband. As one woman stated on his site "the video to me is Priceless" and that is just how I feel. It is great to remember how the day went however it is completely different than to be able to actually watch it all over again.
I hope you have fun at your home reception. By the way you looked absolutely beautiful!!!!

I must say, you are famous in my house! i have wanted your wedding about 10 times, myself! I was trying to be able to budget Stan in and just couldn't manage it, but not before he sent me his promo disk, with your wedding on it...You guys looked like you had the best day of your life and your daughter is lovely!

Kismetdreams- OH MY GOSH!!! I DID know that Stan was trying to make a demo with our recent wedding in it however he didnt mention to me that it was actually being sent out already. LOL!!! I will have to contact him. I am sorry that you were not able to book Stan because of your budget. He and his wife really are amazing videographers as well as people. My guest at my wedding thought he and his wife were family of ours. Thats how social and fun they were. You wouldnt think it because of all the footage they actually got of my wedding but they DID have time to socialize. Stan is actually a member of Club 33, a private dinner club above New Orleans Square in Disneyland and he lets all his customers use his pass if they are ever there. He actually offered it to my brother in law as well since my brother in law is from CA. He also includes special touches with his services also. Like when he sent me the contract info via mail he had a Minnie Mouse Bride pen enclosed inside. Also since we had ordered 2 extra effects and included him in our entire day, meal, favors, Illuimations, him and his wife gave us the virtual dove release for free as a wedding gift to us as well as since dinner was served to them (lobster tail and Filet Minon) they gave us the hour at the Illuminations for free. You get even more from them than just thier awesome service. You actually gain two AMAZING FRIENDS.
On another note I did check out your website and I see that you will be getting married on March 20th 2004 at the wedding Gazebo and having a reception at Ariels. Let me tell you something that wedding is going to be absolutely INCREDIBLE. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE RESORT IS YATCH CLUB!!! Those two places were our first choices however we were afraid of rain for the ceremony so we changed it to the wedding pavillion and as for Ariels my EM told me it was closed indefinatley at the time however not knowing that it actually had opened and someone else ended up getting it, so I had to have it in the Asbury Hall in Yatch Club. Still beautiful but no outside sunlight. (OH WELL) Ariels is the best place to have the reception since it is already decorated with a nautical theme. Also it has sun light coming through, were as many of the places in the GF and the YC ballrooms and convention centers do not. I will be in Florida on that day however just getting off the Disney Western Carribean Cruise.

just one question though, I was under the assumption that you weren't allowed to were wedding attire in epcot for the Illuminations Desert Party. I noticed that you were wearing yours and wondered if the rules had changed (it would make my day extra special if I were allowed to keep my wedding dress on all day).

The only way you are able to wear your wedding dress in Epcot to view the Illuminations Fireworks is if you have reserved an Island for a dessert party. You will be escorted in the park by a guide to do this. I told them that this was really important to me that I wear my dress throughtout my entire wedding day including in the park at our dessert party. (since it took my husband and I 15 years to actually tie the knot, I wanted this day to last) They stated that this would be fine but we just needed to be escorted into the party. It truely felt so magical to walk into the gates of Epcot with my wedding dress. A little girl even came up to me and gave me her autograph book to sign saying that I was a beautiful princess. LOL!! I hope this helps you out.

I didn't have any problems with getting them to let me wear my wedding dress in Epcot, although I have heard of some people having that problem even if they are having a Dessert Party. I went through Adam Tidd for my Dessert Party and he was a huge help, I asked him right off if I would be able to wear it and he said no problem!! I would have thought twice about having it if I couldn't have worn it!!!!


Thank you all so much for your wonderful compliments..........ellieb I love to watch your video on Stan's site, your dress is just beautiful, if I could wear a strapless dress I would have wanted one identical to yours.........but alas we all don't have the figure for it.

Update: I'm only watching my video 2 or 3 times a day now instead of 5 or 6.............I'm making progess on improving

I just wanted to let everyone know that I just booked STVS for my wedding at the Celebration Hotel on 01/11/2004. We had ZERO plans of getting a videographer untill we received his package in the mail. I must admit that it was extremely impressive and professional. Stan has been a dream to work with and even through the coldness of the Internet he has come accross as a fantastic person. We are so excited about booking him. We can't wait.

I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Him and his wife a wonderful people and will make you feel very comfortable on your wedding day, not to mention capture it in such a way that when you view it for the first time you will actually feel those same feelings you had on that magical day. Oh it gives me the chills just thinking about it. I watch my slow motion montage just about everyday whether it is the one he has on his site or my DVD version. I just cant believe that my wedding day was that spectacular. I am sure yours will be too!!! Oh I am soooooo excited for you!!!
