My WDW trip

I don't see how it is any different from anyone going with a large group. Again, I wish you all would realize that I didn't turn in 40 different sets of quest and even if I did if there was a valid ticket, real people went in the parks and I used real tickets I don't see where VMK would have a problem with it? It is no different than a Grand Gathering or any other large group.

What VMK might not like was I was giving out the extra quests and if that was frowned upon I would stop but when I asked they didn't mind at all.

The also probably don't like that we have the answers posted here but I don't see that changing any time soon. I have seen Yavn comment negatively about sharing Quest answers.

So to intimate that I would have anything to do with changing the way that quest cards are distributed isn't right.

I did not insinuate anything...I said that by you and others getting extremely large quantities of quest cards at one time will probably in fact change the way they distribute the cards to individuals. You may not like that I said that or that if it happens you may have contributed to that but the fact remains it may happen because of people taking large amounts of tickets in and redeeming them for quests cards. Thus depleting the supplies and abusing the system.

The way it is different is you borrowed the tickets from the scout troop and turned them all in for yourself...did you tell them that? or did you say you were redeeming them for the group? I do not think that VMK intentions were to have on person redeeming so many quest(be it 40 or not)at one time for self usage. Maybe one day Yavn can answer that question for us.

You are right they probably do frown on the Quest answers being posted and you are right again that will not be changing anytime soon.

All games(video or computer)have guides and helps posted all over the internet as soon as they are known and released that is the nature of the beast. While they(VMK)may not like that it will continue to happen on every VMK site.

I don't think that it is any different from someone in a Grand Gathering taking Grandma and Aunts and Cousins tickets and redeeming it for quests. When I was in there a boy came in with FIFTEEN tickets from just such a gathering. That was more than I was redeeming, he didn't have the Thrill Seekers Quest and I asked if I could give it to him, they said as long as I had 15 of them. So he and his 2 brothers got 15 sets of quests.

It would be one thing if these were not real tickets or they were not real people that entered the park. I didn't break any rules that I can see and YES, I told them that I was with a large group that didn't play VMK so I was getting the quests for me and my daughter. They don't really seem to care as long as you have a ticket.

My daugher went on a Grand Gathering with her Grandparents and they brought me back 9 sets in May.

There was someone on this board that went with a school group and talked about hoping to talk a lot of people into letting him get quest with their tickets, I don't remember ANYONE jumping all over him.

I actually did not jump all over you...you quoted me and said I insinuated that what you did was wrong when I did not.

If Disney allows it then it isn't wrong....what I said is that in the future they may change how they alow quest to be picked up.

Just to add a note to what has been mentioned here:

When I checked last Wednesday the WDW VMK Central castmember said that they had copies of the Tomorrowland, Thrill Seekers, and High School Musical print-at-home quests there to give out. Of course those copies do not have the answers or Kali stamp, but they are available for those without the means to print them.

Out, thanks so much for posting this. We were at VMK Central yesterday afternoon. I had forgotten to bring the HSM quest with me. DS had been in out of the state since school got out in May and missed that quest. (I didn't turn his in for him.) I saw the guy get out a stack of quests, but he didn't say anything to us. I suggested ds just do it the next time we come back to MK. (The purpose of yesterday was to ride POTC anyway; and the ride rocked!)

I did notice that the Wanted posters have been removed from the counters at Buzz and Splash. They are once again behind the counter so that people buying pictures can get them.
