My WDW Trip Vows

1. After 4 trips to MK I will see spectromagic!
2. I will not be a crazy commando planner.
3. I will not yell at my husband because it takes an hour for him to get ready every morning. :furious:
4.. I will get the kids ready by myself with a smile on my face while my husband takes an hour to get ready. :furious:
5. I will not get mad when we get lost every morning on the way to the parks. :confused3
6. I will laugh at all the rude people instead of letting it ruin my mood.
7. I will enjoy my wonderful family and make memories that will last forever.
8. I will not let on that I know my husband is tearing up while he watches the kids watch wishes.

Wow, that felt good to get off my chest.

I will not talk incessantly about our trip on the weeks (months) leading up to our trip so everyone is sick of hearing about it before we even go!

OK, I AM going to do that!

But, I will not point out all the people passing us up and say, "We're going to be in line behind all these people!"

I will not tell anyone to hurry up...I will not tell anyone to hurry up...I will not - but honestly, is it asking too much after spending all this money and time and such to get there to just be able to stay ahead of the crowd? Or even in the middle of the crowd? Just not have every single person that isn't physically challenged (and even some who are) passing us up? ;)

Oops...Patience is a virtue...good things come to those who wait...I will not tell anyone to hurry up...I will not tell anyone to hurry...

Great thread! :thumbsup2

1. I will eat Tonga Toast for breakfast one morning.

2. I will watch Wishes and the water parade from the beach at the Poly.

3. I will try to buy one small souvenir from each country in the WS.

4. I will have a Dole Whip (somehow I've never had one.... :confused3).

5. I won't pin trade with every CM I see. ;)

6. I won't cry because POTC is closed during our trip. :guilty:

7. I will buy a tiara and wear it for the entire trip. princess:

8. I will get my hair pixie dusted at the MK barber shop.

9. I will try my best to get into the Hot Seat at Millionaire instead of screwing up on purpose so that I won't have to play in front of hundreds of people. :rolleyes1

10. I will let myself go and interact with other guests and CMs more instead of being shy and reserved.

Also, I agree with auntread about seeing "Beauty and the Beast" again, just in case. It's such a good show!

I will not be so freakin moody and ornery due to [not being a commando]!
That's me too. :guilty:

Trip nazi? I prefer to think of it as trip director! (Hey, if it weren't for me, they'd sleep all day! Of course, it's probably my fault they're so tired! ;) )

Tim, who now thinks that maybe that "no drill sergeant" promise will be harder to keep than he thought! :scared1:

That's me for sure.

I want to see the Beauty and the Beast show again too. Love it!!

I will enjoy my family and the memories we are making.

You mean we are not suppose to annoy everyone around us on a daily basis with our knowledge and helpful hints about WDW?

1. I will sit on a bench more and just watch the other guest.

2. I will take more photographs (my last trip I only took 1,500+ .... looks like I'm going to need a bigger hard drive!)
:thumbsup2 :magnify:

I will not find it necessary to go to a park every day and run like mad.

I will enjoy parents new winter home and hang out at the pool.

I will spend time relaxing for a change. (isn't that what a vacation is supposed to be for? :scratchin )

1. I will get the family to watch Spectromagic even if it means standing behind all the families that get there early (because mine wont)

2. I will take the boat over to Fort Wilderness and eat at Trails End even if it takes time away from the Magic Kingdom.

3. I will let the kids pick what THEY want to do and not get upset if it means waiting on long lines. (because we have been there enough times that we have almost done it all anyway)

4. I will be a drill sargeant and (pleasantly) get everyone up early so that when it gets to be hot we can go back to the resort and swim and STILL make it back to the parks. (Because the one trip we did this everyone was so much happier even if they werent happy getting up early to begin with)

5. I WONT get annoyed at my husband for trying to get the kids to see and have a picture taken with every single character he can find!

I will take pictures.

(last trip we all took cameras and always forgot them in the room)

I will not secretly roll my eyes at my DH when my DS asks if we can go on Small World one more time (for the 12th time in a row).

I will let my dd meet all the characters over and over without asking "Do you really need to see xxxx again?" princess:

I will take some time to smell the roses.

I will enjoy the hotel pool.

I will include a non-park day.

I will not feel guilty for taking dd to neverland club so that I can go ride the "big rides" she is not able to or is afraid of.

I will imake sure my wife has the best trip yet because we are going to splurge.

I will watch other fireworks than Wishes! everytime.

I will ride a water themed ride.

I will complain about every morning eating Macdonalds.

I feel for you about McDonalds. That's about the only place the kids want to eat! :-P

I will not lose DH in disney gift shops
I will allow Time to eat :thumbsup2

What a great thread - I'm going to copy and paste them into a document for my brother to sign. LOL

-I vow not to be bothered where we end up room-wise in the resort cause all happens perfectly.
-I vow not to get grumpy at the end of the day when my feet are complaining - instead I'll treat them to a spa treatment in my room!!
-I vow to enjoy my family and make tons of great memories from our trip.
-I vow to savor and relish and cherish every single second I'm there (cause sometimes it's a whole year before I get to come back!) ;)
-I vow to spread and sprinkle my own pixie dust while I'm there (cause Tink does need help every now and then!) :tink:

Great thread! Hugs, Ely :tigger:

Great Thread

I will take the time to sit and wait for a parade, any parade, doesn't matter as we have never seen a one.

I will not make my family sit thru Country Bear Jamboree again just because I love it.

I will eat more than 1 funnel cake.

I will take more video & pictures of the surroundings.

I WILL figure out how to get more that 100 points on Buzz

DH and I will have breakfast alone every morning while the kids sleep and then we will bring the kids breakfast in bed (this was one of their favorite things we did a couple of times on our last trip)

I will not be a slave to ADR's - if we make it great, if we don't the number to cancel is on speed-dial on my cell.

I will not make any guaranteed ADR's as they defeat the purpose of the vow above.

We will pin trade more - it was so fun but we didn't get into it until our last couple of days.

I will take pictures of the WS Countries in the daylight so that they come out good and the folks at home will see why it is such A BIG DEAL.

I will buy my own stuffed Eeyore since my DD won't share hers with me.

I will remember to be thankful for how blessed I am to have 2 beautiful children, a wonderful DH and to be able to take these kind of a trips with them.

MamaCatNV

I will make sure that there is some special private time for my DH and I to do adult things... even if it means waking up an hour early so we can enjoy each others company and STILL get to rope drop at the park of the day!

I will not race around.

I will take and use the camera!

I will talk DH into a good meal at least every other day, some place!

I will NOT eat McD's, BK, or some place else that I can find around home! Even if DH wants to I will wait till I get to the park to eat, or take fruit or something!

Enjoy time with DH, as he is such a good sport about this Disney thing I have, and will do what ever I want, except for some food things....
