I had a very vivid dream about our upcoming Disney trip:
We (my sister and I) had just arrived at POR, and had checked in. We were in a mansions room, and it had striped wallpaper (ecru and a pinky-white stripe) and very elegant wall sconces, crown molding, and was just head to toe gorgeous. Very much like what I would imagine a souther mansion to look like.
From our room, we had a very pretty courtyard view, and when stepping out onto the balcony, we could see the All Stars Music resort...specifically, we could see a giant movie screen (drive in style) that was playing music videos. I happened to have my copy of "The Unofficial Guide" in my hand, and read that there was a good view of the Music screen at POR, but not the Movies screen. I started to look for the Movies screen, but stopped, thinking the guide must be correct.
Then my sister and I left, and tried to decide what to eat for breakfast. We were walking, and passed POFQ, which had a Burger King, McDonalds, and many other choices, but nothing we really wanted...so we kept walking. Also POFQ had what looked like a monorail running through it, except they looked like trolley cars. Eventually, we found ourselves walking up World Drive toward the MK. That's when I noticed my sister was carrying her suitcase and a 27" TV. This upset me, because now we would have to rent a locker. Anyway, at that point we started talking about our room...I asked her what building we were in, and she said Parterre Place. BTW, World Drive looked very different...you could see all the resorts from it, as though WDW had been compressed.
So we get to MK, and we were talking about what to ride first, and that is when I start to worry, because I realize it's 11am, and the Guide says you should arrive 30 minutes before the parks open...now I am worrying our whole trip is ruined, because I know we'll never be able to wake up early every day. So I tell my sister, let's ride Buzz Lightyear...after that I don't remember anything else.
The moral of this dream, I think, is that I should not read the Unofficial Guide so much!
