My waitlist came through!!!!!

I am so excited!!! At the 11 month mark we booked the Wilderness Lodge Villas for the marathon weekend in January. We really wanted to stay at the Boardwalk Villas. We waitlisted months ago and it finally came through yesterday!!!!!!

That's great! I am waitlisted for Boardwalk too. I want a two bedroom with a boardwalk view. How were you notified of the change?

They just sent us a confirmation letter with the new info. It didn't mention the original reservation at all.
ETA--I just checked the DVC website and it shows our next vacation as being at BWV. Looks like everything has been switched.

I am hoping for the same good news. I am on a wait list for Nov. 19-27 for a 2 bedroom anywhere at this time. I am hoping for boardwalk or beach club, however, since it is getting so close, i am not going to be picky.

I know the new waitlist system is a little tempermental. If you are flexible you should see if they can put in several different waitlists like 20-27 or 21-28 or whatever you are comfortable. The reason I say this is because if there is one day that is not available they will bypass you waitlist altogether. Just a suggestion. It might better your chances at getting a room. Good luck
