My wait list came through, how bout that

Well I never expected to have a wait list for three consecutive days during spring break come through, but it did.

I had reserved two nights at BLT with lake view (my home resort) because I couldn't get three in a standard view studio and was waiting for the 7 month window to buy some one use points to book the third. Then Viola! the waitlist email came this afternoon.

Definitely do it even if you think you won't get it, you never know

Same here. We had reserved a studio Savannah view at Kidani for fall break. We then decided to take 2 nieces with us. We suddenly needed a 1 bedroom. Less than 3 months out, I pieced together 3 nights at Jambo, 3 at Kidani, and one at Saratoga Springs. Less than 2 weeks ago, I was able to piece together 5 nights in a row at Kidani, leaving the first and last night off(a Saturday and Friday night during Food and Wine). I waitlisted both. Just this past weekend, the Saturday came though, and yesterday the Friday came through.

It's never too late to try. During one of the busiest weeks of the year for DVC, we pieced together a week of exactly what we wanted.

We had a similar situation with a SSR day in the middle of the trip. It seems like those 1-2 night WL come through a lot easier than the week long requests. I'd chance it again!!
