This was our very fist trip to disney with our girls. We wanted it to be so magical, and it was. We decided to go in Sept for DH's birthday so he could get in free for a day. We ended up just taking the gift card instead, and did not know when we started to plan that we would end up with free dining too. I had always planned to go in the fall, and when they tacked on free dining I was sooooo excited. This would be our first time staying on disney property as well.

We left out for our vacation early Friday morning and drove to cocoa beach. We arrived there around lunch time and settled in our motel. DH took a nap while myself and DD's went to the pool for a while. Later on we all went down the beach and just had a very relaxing afternoon.

The next morning it was off to the most magical place on earth. The girls had been so anxious to get to disney and we were so excited to start making some wonderful memories. We arrived at WL around 9am, and while our room was not ready yet, we simply got our key to the world cards and headed to the MK. The very first thing we did after walking throught the gate at MK was get ears, autograph books and pens for DD's. Within 3-5 mins DD(4) had lost her pen. I ran into the emporium, explained to the CM what had happened, showed her my receipt and she graciously gave us another pen. DH then had a brilliant idea. He wanted to get DD's reaction to seeing the castle for the very first time. He made them close their eyes while I got ready for the picture and then he parked them(in the stroller) right in the middle of Main Street looking towards the castle. He then told them to open their eyes. WOW!!!!! I will always remember the excitement in their faces. At that moment, I did not care how much money we would spend here. It was all going to be worth it. As we were heading down Main Street, we were also able to get our picture taken with the Mayor(this was a first for me). Already our trip was turning out to be magical.

We then started our exploration of the world. DD's rode alot of rides and were really enjoying themselves. In the afternoon we were able to watch the Celebrate(?) parade. DD(4) had a disposable camera and used up all her pics within the first 5 mins. She gets it honest, I must confess. After the parade we headed to Tommorrowland and then to Toontown. We were going to visit Pixie Hollow, but the line was way to long, so we opted for the Princess line instead. Seeing them meet the princesses they had watched for years on TV, and now getting to meet them was priceless.

After leaving toontown DH and DD's got a spot to watch Spectromagic while I went to Casey's to get supper. This was my first experience with the DDP and I wish I would have gotten an inservice before ordering for the first time. When I told the guy what I wanted, he said I owed a certain amount of money. I was so confused. I told him that I had the DDP and we eventually got it all worked out. As the trip went on I got much better at ordering correctly. When I got back to DH and DD's, it had just began to rain and DD(3) was fast asleep. We pulled out the ponchos and ate our hotdogs. Right before the parade started, the rain cleared and we were able to watch the whole thing. DD(4) absolutely loved it. She would call out for all the characters and want them all to come over and see her. We ended the night with Wishes and then headed back to WL to unpack and get ready for day 2.
