This morning I found a small bug on Sienna. I don't think it was a tick, and if it was a flea it was one of a shape I'm not familiar with. Whatever it was, it moved and was long, thin, and black, so it was a bug and I want to get rid of it.
I picked up some fresh Revolution at the vet's this morning (GRR at DH for not picking it up last week when he took Sienna in like I'd asked him to.
) and am going to give everyone a dose when I get home. I'm also going to give them a bath just in case.
What I'm wondering is is there such a thing as a spray or powder you can sprinkle on carpet and leave for 30-90 minutes then vaccuum up that will help kill fleas and other crawly pests? The closest I know of is fogging/fumigating the house and I don't know that I want to do that until DH gets home and we can find something to do with the kitties for 5 hours, but if there's a carpet powder I can use in the rooms the kitties frequent most often to help cut down the chances of the kitties getting anything else, I'd like to get some.
