Alot of people have asked for Target Trip Report! I got up Saturday to pouring rain and sick hubby! Gary just did not feel well, he had a terrible cold.

So Mom and I decided we would still make the trip ourselves. We drove the one hour trip to the shopping area. the rain never let up, if anything it got worse! We found a parking spot, and got soaked before we got into the store. So we walk into Target and I was very excited... we where not in the store 5 minutes Mom asked me what was wrong? I said you know I just do not have any energy, and am not feeling so good myself! :sad2: So we walked around the store, but I was just not feeling good and felt I was pushing myself, etc. We did not buy anything, as I think I was just not into shopping. etc. So Mom suggest that we just head over to The Country Buffet and eat.

That is what we did, I did feel a little better after eating, but not much. We then decided to just head home since the weather was so bad. We are going to go back when the weather warms up more. It poured the whole way back home. I ended up coming home, soak and wet and freezing. I headed up took a nice warm bath, got my Pj's on and curled up on the couch! Gary and I just watched tv the rest of the day.

I will go back to Target soon, what I saw, I

bummer! Sorry your 1st experience was so bad!

I went to Target the other day too and just wasn't in the shopping mood...I only bought a 12 pack of toilet paper and a fabric folding storage thingy for DD's room.

Hopefully you will feel better next time!

Hi MsDisney23! I'm sorry your trip to Target was a bust. But I gotta say, I love that I could picture everything you were saying, since that is MY target too! I assume you went to Consumer Square!

I can't believe it's an hour away for you. I think I'd have MAJOR withdrawls if I had to drive that far for Target!

Consumer Square is my Target to but I'm looking forward to the one in Cumberland opening so it's closer for me! Sorry your trip was a bust :sad1: Hope you're feeling better.

Sorry your trip that you had planned and looked forward to didn't turn out the way you wanted it to. Hope your next trip is enjoyable for you.

I live about 5 minutes from the one they are building, I can not wait for it to open! Did you know they are also going to build a Super Wal-Mart! :thumbsup2

I went to the Target at Consumer Square, yes about an hour drive for us! With my health, I am better being close to home for now, but hey we gave it a try! :)

Aww, sorry your first trip didn't go as planned. Hope you decide to make another trip in the near future, I just loveeeeeee Target.... great deals.

I'm sorry your trip was a bust. I hope that everyone gets to feeling better and you can make another trip!

Why don't you come to the one in Deptford? It has to be closer than one hour, up Rt. 55?

Wow, I'm surprised that so many DISers shop at the Target at Consumer Square!! That's a 30 minute drive for me, and I love, love, love that Target!!!

I had no idea that they're building a Target in Cumberland! Where will it be? Maybe we can plan a Target DIS Meet?
