I went to GNC on Sunday to buy a bunch of LC things. I really needed hot and cold cereals. When the clerk told me it was $94, I knew I was buying alot, and that LC stuff is ridiculously expensive, so I didn't think much of it. On the bright side, I had saved over $40 by going on the first of the month with my gold card.
On Monday night, I was collecting my receipts out of my purse to put them away. I got to this one and started to wonder what I bought that made the trip so expensive. Turns out, they charged me $69.99 for a $6.99 bag of Low Carb Success cereal. Whoops!
I called the store and the manager told me to bring the receipt back and I was refunded my money yesterday.
So, the moral is, check your receipts and if it seems too expensive, it probably is a mistake.
I'm glad I checked that receipt.
