Day 5: Back in MK

Tuesday April 19th. One of my little 5 yr old angels was up bright and early this day (it was still dark out) and ready to go meet some characters. I awoke from my slumber sometime around 430 staring straight into the beautiful blue eyes of the little cherub. :earseek: I asked her what was wrong, at first thinking she had a nightmare and she said "NO Mommy, we are going to the Magic Kingdom silly, get up" :earseek: :earseek: :earseek: I told her Mickey doesnt get up until at LEAST 6am. Well she wasnt so thrilled with this but when back to her bed again....until 5am....back to bed until 530 came and at that point she managed to wake her twin sister up and I had both sets of beautiful blues staring at me. LOL. Ya just have to love kids!! I felt like it was christmas morning all over again. Anyhow got the rest of the troops up and were out by 730. Our day in the kingdom started with another commando style whirling dirvish through Fantasyland. After this we headed over the ToonTown. First thing we headed into the Hall of Fame and met some characters. Great idea to do this first thing in the morning because it avoids really long lines. Especially with Mickey. We had a very short wait here. After a good dose of greetings it was over to Goofy's Barnstormer. All the kids except my one of the twins (yes the same cranky early riser) wanted to go on. We took another stroll through Minnie's house while the others went on. After a couple of spins on that, we decided to head over to Tomorrowland. By now the troops were hungry again so we stopped at Starlight Rays and ate lunch. This is a great place to have counter service for the whole family, IMO. We spent most of our afternoon in Tomorrowland. It was very crowded here and so we got FPs for Buzz, Space Mountain, and Stitch. Of course we also visited COP which is a big favorite of ours, and TTA (twins loved this one...I dont know how many times we rode it...but hey they were having fun so it didnt matter to me). Around 215 we headed over the Main St for the Parade. Snagged a great spot on the curb and talked to some great people while waiting. We hadnt watched the parade on our last few trips so it was fun for all of us to see it since it had been a while. After that the kids were ready to go back to the hotel for some more swimming. DH and I were planning on heading back to the MK that night as my mom was planning on sitting with the kids for us so we could have some alone time (We love my mom very much, lol). After we got back to our place we had dinner and Dh and I were off again. We had a great evening going on rides together and just strolling around. It was very relaxing for us, but it felt strange not constantly looking for our stroller, or turning our heads every two minutes to check on everyone. Every time a little one would say Mommy I would always think for a sec that it was one of mine. We had fun, but we ended up talking about the kids most of the time. Anyway, I was going to report on day 6 as well but I am going to hold off on that for another day because it is late now. Thanks for reading everyone!
