My transportation touring plan

I am pretty comfortable with my ADRs and my FP+ and my in-park navigation. I have (with awesome help from folks here) made the steps that will keep me pretty comfortable about travel to and from property.

Now the internal transportation is my last big bugaboo, so I've made a touring plan. Because that's what we do, right? We make touring plans.

I just found out I'm saving like $150 on airport parking. My willingness top holler, "Screw it! We're taking a cab!" has gone way up. If I am missing a moment where that's really the sane answer, please speak up. Yes, all the little things do add up, but I don't want to spoil a $10K vacation over a $10 cab fare. Places I'm confident are green, iffy moments are orange, "I think my hair caught fire" questions are red.

Day One

POR to Epcot, arrive by 10. (bus)
Epcot to POR after Illuminations. (bus)

Day Two

POR to Grand Floridian (1900 PF) for 8:00 AM ADR (uber)
GF to MK by 10:30 (monorail)
MK to WL (Whispering Canyon)for 8:20 PM ADR (better to bus or boat? and do I then just take whichever back to the TTC to grab a bus home to POR after? will we really just want an uber?)

Day Three

POR to AK (Tusker) for 8:00 ADR (bus)
AK to AKL (Sanaa) for 5:30 ADR (bus)
AKL to POR - (We have to go by way of a park, right? At that point we might tuck in a couple extra hours at Epcot or MK...)

Day Four

POR to DS (Splitsville) for 11:00 ADR (boat)
DS to POR (boat)
POR to Yacht Club (Captain's Grille) for 6:25 or 8:00 ADR (bus to Epcot, walk to YC?)

**This is my weird day. We'll fit in some combination of Disney Springs, maybe pool time at POFQ, maybe mini golf at the Swan... kind of playing it by ear, but the transportation seems to remain mostly the same.)

Day Five

POR to DHS for rope drop (bus)
DHS to Contemporary for Pirates and Pals w/ 6:45 check in (uber)
Contemporary to POR (monorail to TTC, bus to POR?)

Day Six

POR to Epcot (bus)
Epcot to POR (bus)

Day Seven

POR to DHS (Sci-Fi) for 8:00 ADR (bus)
DHS to POR after Fantasmic! (bus)

Day Eight

POR to Poly (Ohana) for 9:00 ADR
Poly to DS (Raglan Road)for 1:00 ADR
DS to Fort Wilderness (HoopDeeDoo Revue) 6:15

**I am ENTIRELY aware of how ridiculous the dining plans for this day are. Yes. It's really, really stupid. No, it wasn't worth fighting them over. Also, I've sort of thrown up my hands and have no idea how the grand promenade from one table to the next will go. I am flustered.**

Day Nine

POR to MK (BoG) for pre-park ADR @ 8:00 (bus)
MK to Poly (Spirit of Aloha) 5:15 (monorail)
Poly to ??? We'll either monorail to TTC and take a bus home or grab an uber to a park for an extra hour or so.

Day Ten

POR to MK (Crystal Palace) 8:20 (bus)
MK to AK (uber)
AK to POR (Boatwrights) 6:35 (bus)

**The dining plan for this day is also stupid. I gave up.

MK to WL (Whispering Canyon)for 8:20 PM ADR (better to bus or boat? and do I then just take whichever back to the TTC to grab a bus home to POR after? will we really just want an uber?)

Take the boat. It's a pretty ride. If its raining, take the bus. For the return trip DO NOT go to the TTC. You can't get a resort bus there. If MK or another park is still open, go to that park and get your resort bus there. Otherwise, call Uber.

AKL to POR - (We have to go by way of a park, right? At that point we might tuck in a couple extra hours at Epcot or MK...

Yes, you will have to catch a bus to an open park to connect to your resort bus.

DHS to Contemporary for Pirates and Pals w/ 6:45 check in (uber)
Contemporary to POR (monorail to TTC, bus

You cant get a resort bus at the TTC. If you monorail from CR to MK, it will take a half hour while you first stop at TTC, Poly, and GFR. Faster to walk to the MK bus stop.

Day Eight

POR to Poly (Ohana) for 9:00 ADR
Poly to DS (Raglan Road)for 1:00 ADR
DS to Fort Wilderness (HoopDeeDoo Revue) 6:15

**I am ENTIRELY aware of how ridiculous the dining plans for this day are. Yes. It's really, really stupid. No, it wasn't worth fighting them over. Also, I've sort of thrown up my hands and have no idea how the grand promenade from one table to the next will go. I am flustered.**

POR to Poly: bus to MK, boat or monorail to Poly
Poly to DS: bus
DS to Ft Wilderness: bus to Ft Wilderness. Transfer to Internal bus to the Settlement stop. After the show there will be busses outside Pioneer Hall to take you back to your resort if you aren't going back to a park.

Poly to ??? We'll either monorail to TTC and take a bus home or grab an uber to a park for an extra hour or so.
Poly to resort,: DO NOT go to the TTC. Go to the MK by monorail or boat to get your resort bus, if MK is still open.
Poly to an open park: Epcot: walk to the TTC and monorail to Epcot. DHS: bus

Day One:
fine

Day Two:
Take the boat there and then back to MK to get a bus back to POR (assuming MK is still open)
YOU CANNOT GET A BUS FROM THE TTC.

Day Three:
Yes, you will have to transfer at a park.

Day Four:
Tranferring at Epcot will require park admission. Take the bus to DHS and walk or take the boat.

Day Five:
Why take an Uber to the Contemporary? Just take the bus.
Afterwards, walk to MK to get a bus to MK (assuming MK is still open.) Again, You cannot get a bus from the TTC.

Day Six
Fine.

Day Seven:
Fine.

Day Eight:
Take the bus to MK and then monorail or boat to the Poly.
Bus to DS
Bus to Fort Wilderness.

Day Nine:
At the end of the night: monorail or boat to MK and get a bus from there.

Day Ten:
Just take the direct bus from MK to AK. Uber isn't going to save much, if any, time.

Day Four:
Tranferring at Epcot will require park admission. Take the bus to DHS and walk or take the boat.

We do have park tickets for all our days, so that's not actually a problem, but if the route to transfer requires going through the park it's probably faster to go the other way, isn't it?

Day Five:
Why take an Uber to the Contemporary? Just take the bus.

Time. This is a moment when I don't want to budget the extra time for buses. A bus would work but I'd rather have the park time than the $10

Day Ten:
Just take the direct bus from MK to AK. Uber isn't going to save much, if any, time.

So there are buses direct between parks, just not between resorts, correct? We may still uber to save time but it's good to have all the options.

Thank you both! I am feeling much more confident about this and have been saved from a frustrating misstep with the TTC.

The new plan is below, mostly for my own reference, but also for anyone else who might want to see the difference between the newbie attempt and the expert revision.

Day One

POR to Epcot, arrive by 10. (bus)
Epcot to POR after Illuminations. (bus)

Day Two

POR to Grand Floridian (1900 PF) for 8:00 AM ADR (uber)
GF to MK by 10:30 (monorail)
MK to WL (Whispering Canyon)for 8:20 PM ADR (bus or boat)
WL to POR (uber) *There will be no open parks at that point.

Day Three

POR to AK (Tusker) for 8:00 ADR (bus)
AK to AKL (Sanaa) for 5:30 ADR (bus)
AKL to POR - (bus to an open park and transfer)

Day Four

POR to DS (Splitsville) for 11:00 ADR (boat)
DS to POR (boat)
POR to Yacht Club (Captain's Grille) for 6:25 or 8:00 ADR (bus to DHS, walk to YC?)

POR to DHS for rope drop (bus)
DHS to Contemporary for Pirates and Pals w/ 6:45 check in (uber)
Contemporary to POR (walk to MK stop, bus to POR)

Day Six

POR to Epcot (bus)
Epcot to POR (bus)

Day Seven

POR to DHS (Sci-Fi) for 8:00 ADR (bus)
DHS to POR after Fantasmic! (bus)

Day Eight

POR to Poly (Ohana) for 9:00 ADR (Bus to MK, monorail or boat to Poly)
Poly to DS (Raglan Road)for 1:00 ADR (Bus to DS)
DS to Fort Wilderness (HoopDeeDoo Revue) 6:15 (Bus to FW)

Day Nine

POR to MK (BoG) for pre-park ADR @ 8:00 (bus)
MK to Poly (Spirit of Aloha) 5:15 (monorail)
Poly to ??? (Still don't know if we're going to a park or back to the resort, but it will NOT invlove the TTC! :) )

Day Ten

POR to MK (Crystal Palace) 8:20 (bus)
MK to AK (bus)
AK to POR (Boatwrights) 6:35 (bus)

There is direct transportation between all of the major parks.

Taking an Uber between MK and AK could actually take longer than the bus. Or it could be (literally) a couple of minutes faster. It's really a toss up. Why spend the money on something that could actually take longer? If you really want to, you'll need to walk over to the Contemporary to get an Uber.

I've put in the bus instead of Uber for the MK to AK trip! The DHS to Contemporary seems like a bus would take longer, but I may be wrong on that one too.

LOL. No one's going to be hungry for lunch (which is a huge shame because Raglan Road is tasty) then they'll be gnawing off their arms by dinnertime. The people making you make those ADRs are very silly. For YOU, save room at breakfast so you'll be hungry for lunch. :)

Any thoughts or considerations about renting a car? Not sure when your plans are, how big your party is, etc etc, but it's worth checking out if you haven't done so already. Makes all transportation questions easy. How to get there? Hop in the car and drive. :)
