I JUST potty trained my
3 year old prior to our recent trip and thought I would share some Disney tips for those with recently or actively potty training kiddos:

-bring sticky notes to cover the automatic flush sensor on the park toilets. My very recently potty trained 3 year old was terrified of the evil-magic-self-flushing toilets. The sticky note solved the problem.

-I also got him a portable potty seat to bring around as he was scared to use the big toilets (it was kinda gross to have to carry them around, but also very effective. I used chlorox wipes to clean them frequently). Worked like a charm. Zero accidents in 4 days!!

one reminder just remember to remove the sticky note as you leave. though I will say they did not help our grandson as the toilets beside us flushing scared him as much as his own

My only suggestion is to have a general idea where the restrooms are. I saw Disney post it notes at our Dollar Tree which were very cute. Have a great trip and congrats on the potty training.

We took our newly trained kid in October (almost 3 at the time) and we have the same portable seat! I hate taking that thing everywhere but he’s terrified of falling in (still). It’s totally a lifesaver.
