I really hope that you are starting to feel better Flowerschild! Being sick is awful. . . and how terribly mean of the people that made such rude comments to you. It seems that some people have never been able to grasp the concept of treating others the way they would like to be treated.

I gargle with hot salt water when I have a sore throat . . . Get well!

I agree with the above poster, hot salt water does help. Also Orange Juice. I tell my son to drink Orange Juice as much as possible because the Vitamin C helps keep colds away!

I didn't read the whole thread, but some herbal tea or green tea might soothe a sore throat. If the sore throat lasts for more than 2 or 3 days, it's probably time to see a doctor to rule out strep throat. It could be a virus or allergies, but it's good to be tested for strep in case you need an antibiotic to get well.

I know what it's like to not feel very well at Disneyworld. I went once and my hemorrhoids flaired up something awful. It was hard for me to sit down anywhere. I couldnt even think about riding any of the rides. oh it was awful. All I could do was go to the Bar at the Polynesian and drink Vodka all night long.
