Balancing my time & Clingy people.

I'll start with clingy people.

I can't stand clingy people, who only hang out with one person, follows them around and copies them or says ME TOO! to everything. I can't deal with it. It drives me insane. It's annoying when they expect to either spend every moment with you, or at least expect them to be a part of every one of your plans. And if they aren't they throw a huge fit and don't speak to you for days.
I can see it being a problem when you never include them, but if it's only once and a while, it's a pain.

Balancing my time.
I can't balance my time. I'm either overbooked and not spending enough time with someone or underbooked and have no one to speak to. And I hate being confronted about how I'm spending too much time with someone I supposedly dislike, or making someone sad. I just never know what to say. I'm shy around people I don't know, and shy in confrontation.

Hehehehe. Anybody relates?

My total and utter lack of a social life helps me in this area. I'm typically overbooked though.

And confrontation with some people scares me.

I have a few clingy people IRL, but it doesn't really bother me. I will admit that it gets annoying, but they are nice people, so I'm glad for that.

I had this problem last year. I had a friend who always tried so hard to fit in. I really felt bad for her, but I couldn't deal with it. I wasn't mean to her, but I wasn't always inviting her everywhere. I didn't see her at all over the summer, and she came back with a new group to stalk. ::Sigh of relief::

And now, I have a similar problem. See, I have this thing called SING, where the students put on a production all by themselves; they write the script, pick the songs, make the dances, built the sets..you get the idea. Last year, I did stage crew, and loved it. This year, I signed up for stage crew and then was talked into trying out for a part. I got a part, so I alternate between stage crew and rehersal. Problem is, my friend is a little over dramatic and take the fact that I go to stage crew as leaving her out, since I'm spending more time with other people.
And other then that, I get home and have no time whatsoever. And what do I do with the time I atcually do have? Well, put it this way: I got home from SING and now I'm on the DIS.

I've noticed one of my friends are getting a bit clingy to one of my other friends at the moment :)
