I have been waiting a long time to try this one out for myself after hearing all the reviews here about it. I got my chance last Friday during EMH with DSIL. I was not very impressed. I understand the getting rid of the scare factor that Alien Encounter had, but I felt that there was more entertainment in the preshow that in the actual show. I could see how some children might like this but I feel that it is a small age range. I really wanted to like this ride, but left feeling that I miss the scare factor from AE. Only my opinion.

Thanks for sharing. I'm trying it out next month and going with low expectations. Hopefully that will help. :teeth:

We just did the Stitch ride a few weeks ago and I wasn't impressed. I thought it was ok but when they said they were going to make it more kid friendly, I thought it would be a little brighter, funny, etc. I still thougt it was quite dark for a ride that was going to be more kid friendly. My two DS liked it (11 & 8) but I wouldn't stand in line to do it again. It reminded me of AE only with Stitch in the middle.

This is the worst ride in Disney, total waste of time. Last week I went with my 12 and 10 year old. They said they would ride Small World 100 times before doing Stitch again. I couldn't believe folks were waiting 1hr in line for it.

We were there a week ago and everyone in my party hated it. Ages 39, 38, 15,14 and 11. My boys wanted to know why they changed it. They wanted the old Alien Encounter back. So much is geared to little kids in this park should have left this alone! Oh well, we did this with a fast pass, if I had stood in line for this - I would have been upset!

I have to make a statement "Stitch's great escape is not the worst ride in Disney, the ride @ the Mexico pavilion ""River of Time...or whatever"" is the worst ride @ disney...but Stitch's Great Escape is in a very close 2nd". That is all.

I like the Mexico ride....but that's just my two cents ;)

As for Stitch....well we got fastpasses for it and I'm very glad I didn't stand on line. I hated Alien Encounter mostly b/c I was 10 when I went on it, but I think that Stitch's Great Escape is a big disappointment. I loved Stitch, but I think the ride was just....boring....it was still too scary for some small children (when all the lights went off I heard several kids crying and yelling). I don't think I would waste my time to do it again :rolleyes2

A big disappointment. One of the top worst rides if not THE worst. Definitely will not bother to go on again.
