My Thanksgiving Waitlist :(

Losing hope

We have a one- bedroom savanna view booked at Kidani from Tuesday through Sunday of Thanksgiving week...We went on the waitlist for Wilderness Lodge and BLT at the 7 month mark...Nothing has come through yet...I know that we still have some time before the 31 day mark but I am starting to lose hope...We really wanted to stay at the VWL because our friends will be there and that is where we are having Thanksgiving dinner...Either location would be great because of the transportation to the MK...

Right now, we are at Kidani (1 BR Sav view for Sun-Wed, Nov 22-25) and then we move to Jambo (1BR Sav) for Wed-Thurs (Nov 25-26), then back to Kidani for the last night

We have been on a waitlist for those 2 middle nights for months, but nothing yet. I just added us to another waitlist to try for the last night at Jambo, so we can at least stay put at Jambo for the last 3 nights. . . ugh.

I'll hope for your VWL wish and maybe that will open up Kidani for us

I'm having a very hard time getting psyched for this vacation as it stands right now. . .I really had hoped we'd get the missing Kidani nights when more AKV units were declared, but now I'm losing hope. . .

Have you thought about changing your waitlist to SSR or OKW? You may have a better chance there than VWL.
