My Tattoo!!

OK - I know I posted this on the Community Board, but I'm just so excited and happy with it, I wanted to post it here too!!!


This Sunday is my birthday (27th) and I had planned on getting a tattoo on my birthday - something to remind me that getting old is just a number.... I went to the tattoo stop last night to just drop off the picture, and he said "Well I'm not doing anything right now...." So I got it last night ! For those of you that are curious, it took about 90 minutes, and I got it on the right side of my lower back - some of it was more painfull than child birth, and some of it I could have slept through! Here it is!

Its not the best picture - I took this one myself because the one DH took was not good!!

Congrats! I got a nice butterfly wit ha rose running thru it on my right shoulder for my bday a few years ago.thinking about getting a small diamond(very small) in my nose this year.

Congrats! I got mine at my bachelorette party and I haven't regretted it for one minute. Of course since I've had two kids no one can see mine any more cause I can't wear those 2 piece suits like I used to.

I got mine about a decade ago, while I was in the Navy (what are the odds, huh). A friend of mine, had a pro gun, and had trained to do it professionally. So one night after my watch was over, I spent two hours getting two stone dragons tattooed on my right shoulder. His divisional Officer actually walked in during the process, looked at us (both of us had the deer in the headlights look), shook his head, and walked out.

very nice! DH and I got matching ones this past February. We got DS's footprint from birth.

My first one took almost 3 hours and I almost passed out. It's on my lower back.

I like it! I've got 3 tattoos myself although I must say, I think childbirth is way more painful!

Nice, I have one tattoo that I got at age 30 a heart on my right ankle, love it.
