Our nearest Home Depot is about an hour away, but my DH was in that town for business and has heard me mention them several times. So when he got home yesterday he had a bag of food with him and told me to look inside. Laying right there on top was my LGMH's!! YAY!! He also got some red mickey heads too!! Now how to use them?? :confused3 I'll have to think of something!! My DH is so sweet!! :goodvibes

Just one question....are they free? I know you get them at home depot by the paint, but I just wasn't sure if you pay for these. To use them, you could put your disboard name on it and put them in your resort window.

I don't know....LGMH's created quite a debate on the Families Board! I don't know how to link, so I'm going to copy the warning we got from "The Paint Nazi"
Hello,

We at HD HQ have been monitoring these boards for some time now after a disgruntled DIS'r notified us of the unauthorized pilfering of our Disney 'paint samples', or as they are known in the industry, Chromatically Reviewable Appearance Pieces.

We have noticed a shortage of these pieces, particularly in the color 'Alien Green' without a corresponding increase in the sales of paint of this shade. As a result of this, Home Depot management has been forced to withdraw orders for Alien Green paint. An unfortunate side affect of this has been the sudden unemployment of an entire village in South America. These villagers were employed by HD for the purpose of collecting the rare Luzanoverde caterpillar; the remarkable hue of Alien Green comes from the addition of these ground up caterpillars.

Although HD is proud to supply these paint samples, it is commonly known and obvious knowledge that members of the general public are entitled to only one (1) sample per family per week. The removal of samples in excess of this amount is a violation of Federal Statute 867-53 section 09 subsection (a). Unfortunately, over the past 8 months, we have seen the removal of 26.8 million of these samples from our stores.

We have developed a database over the past few months with the user names not only of those who have admitted to absconding with our property, but those who have encouraged this behavior by posting to the threads in question. Additionally, our legal council (Legal Depot, Inc.) has subpoenaed the owner/operators of this board to provide the names and IP addresses of all those who have viewed the threads in question.

If you wish to avoid prosecution, you must do the following:
(a) Return any and all Chromatically Reviewable Appearance Pieces to the Home Depot nearest to you
(i) These should be accompanied by a notarized letter detailing the date, time, and number of pieces removed from the store for each infraction.
(ii) These and the accompanying letter should be delivered directly to the store manager.
(b) Remit a rental fee of $1 per month per piece
(c) Submit to 10 hours of Home Depot Community service for each piece.

As previously mentioned, we have been tracking you and know who you are. We shall expect to receive the missing paint samples back by the close of business Monday, November 6, 2006 AD or we will be forced to take further action.

Thank you for your attention to this matter,

The Paint Nazi

P.S. We would also ask that when you visit the drinking fountains in our stores that you limit yourself to no more than 1.5 seconds of fountain water per visit.
