My SW Flight Disappeared

I went on line this morning just to check fares to see if our October flight price had gone down at all. Well when I checked the dates our flight to Orlando was not appearing on the schedule. Not an option to chose. So I checked my RR Account and the flight still showed in my itinerary but I called to check and see what was going on. The agent seemed unsure herself and I was on hold about 10 minutes. She came back to tell me that SW was merging all their flights with Air Tran this weekend. That my reservation still showed but the flight was no longer an option on the site. Didn't sound promising to me. She continued by telling me that there was no way to know what would happen. The flight could change and the "new" one would be one with stops. We always fly non-stop so I wouldn't be thrilled with a longer flight. However there is only one non-stop currently showing and it is for an evening arrival in MCO and we don't want that. So I may be end up with a direct flight.

I guess I will have to wait and see what happens on Monday. I am sure I will be notify by e-mail if anything changes.

They just put October flights out, you would think they would have done it before that.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've had flights disappear/reappear, and my flight was always intact. My flight next week to OAK is gone also, but not anything to worry about. Go out and enjoy the weekend.

Well that is good news. I wasn't overly concerned other than having a non stop flight. It is a short F&W trip with friends so overall it really doesn't matter too much as we are just hanging out when we arrive.

I will definitely enjoy the St. Patty's Weekend Thanks for the info.
