My super scrapping deals of the day!

I went to Jo-Ann's today to just "look around" at their scrapping stuff. I didn't see anything that I just had to have so I headed on back to the Clearance/Damaged aisles. After digging through the very messy shelves, I saw a Sizzix machine box. It said it was "damaged". The box had been written on to say that the cutting pad was missing. I opened the box to check it out. The machine was perfect, still wrapped in plastic, with all the cardboard packing, just no cutting pad.

So how much did I pay for the "damaged" Sizzix? $21.00!!!!

I was sooooo excited! I ran over to the regular Sizzix stuff, got a $4.00 replacement pad, and strutted happily to the checkout!

So of course when I got home, I got the fever to but some dies... after all, what good is the machine with no dies? I went on Ebay, bought THREE alphabet sets (Fun Serif Uppercase, Doodle Block Uppercase alphabar, and the Graffiti Sizzlets WITH A CONVERTER!) for $150.00!!!!

I can't believe I got a Sizzix machine, three alphabets, and a converter for $175.00!!!!

I swear, I'm not gloating. I just wanted to share my joy with my fellow scrappers!!!

Just got back from a run to Big Lots. Today I found in the school section cute paper clips--lots of colors--120 clips for 49 cents! I also saw some nice wooden block stamps for $1.99, and I bought several of these--Creative Living stamp pads (acid free) for $1.99--they had kelly green, sapphire, midnight, ebony, and crimson, and iris.

I also bought the cutest little pots of paper clips at Dollar Tree the other day for $1. They had colored binder clips too! These little pots(or jars) would be great for storing embellishments in when they're empty.

Just a heads up--got my Joann's sales paper today and their Paper Stacks and 12 X 12 albums for 50% off starting on the 24th through the 6th of August.

I'm gonna have to check the clearance section next time I get to go there!

hey cherie!! that was my thought exactly! now i have to make a stop at joanns just to find the clearance section!!

well, i made a special stop at joanns yesterday to check on that clearance section - i didnt see one but as i was looking around someone asked if they could help me - so i asked if there was such a section in this store (this store is only about two months old) - she told me they didnt have a section for the whole store but it was in each department - the scrapbook section had about 5 broken items in it

buttttttttttttttttttt, in the meantime i found the mickey whale of punch! i thought i already had this - i thought the whale of a punches were just the ones with the little flipper on them - turns out there was an even bigger mickey head than the one i had! this one is probably almost as big as the home depot paint chips! soooooooooo - it was worth the stop!

oh - and dont worry - i did pick up a few other little items . . .
