My suitcase weighs as much as I've lost!!

Yesterday I finally finished packing for our trip to WDW I decided to weigh the suitcases just to make sure that we were not over the 50lb limit. I heaved my suitcase onto the scale and it weighed 45lbs. It was hard for me to believe that the suitcase weighed as much as I have lost. It was so heavy!! All I could think of was my poor body lugging that much extra weight around. Anyway this was another motivator, to help me stay OP when I'm being tempted with all the goodies

Oh my! That is amazing!!!!!!!! It's hard to imagine carrying that suitcase around all day and night, and that's exactly what you were doing 45 pounds ago! CONGRATULATIONS for losing a packed suitcase (in pounds!)

Congratulations!!! Great comparison!!
I know how you feel, DH and I were getting groceries a few weeks ago and I lifted a 20-pound bag of dog food and realized THAT was what I had lost so far, it amazed me.

I've lost 30 now and aiming for 30 more but MAY go for 20 more AFTER that...for a TOTAL of 80 which would be ALMOST what my Mom weighed when she got married!! She weighed 85 pounds!!

My doctor once described my excess weight to me as carrying a 10 year old around on your back...all the time..
It did make an impression!

I just love doing those comparisons.

It really helps you realized how much you've accomplished.
But one thing worries me.........you only have 5lbs for souveniers!

Don't worry Jackie, I have extra suitcases!! In fact I've just weighed myself, and now I've lost more than my suitcase weighs!!
