She ate a whole bottle of doggy aspirin. :scared1::sad2:

Called the vet. We weren't even sure which dog it was until the big one vomited up a big pile of pills pretty much intact. So now we'll be spending most of the night watching her. She had to have digested some of them.

I'm worried for my poor old girl. :guilty:

What did the vet say? It's good you figured out who it was and that she at least got some of them up! :worried:

By the time she called back, my dog had vomited, so she said just keep an eye on her for any discomfort or other type of vomiting. She mentioned it was probably better she ate the whole bottle since that's probably what caused her to puke everything up.

Just for future reference, you can call your state's Poison Control Center for pets who ingest poisons or drugs. I have done it several times--when Minky ate an entire box of chocolate, including the cardboard; when he snagged Christian's seizure drugs, 10 in all; when he scarfed up my sleeping pill (are you sensing a pattern here? Oy~) I'm sure they roll their eyes when they see my number on caller ID.

ahhh, no matter how careful we are they just seem to find trouble!!!!!!

hope all is well this am!!!

that's good advice - I had no idea! Thank you!:)

She's not a happy camper. She couldn't keep anything down last night, so my husband stayed up with her all night. She's finally drinking and eating a little bit and keeping it down. We've got an appointment for her for later this afternoon. I just want her to be looked at.

Minky, thanks for that bit of advice. It would never have occurred to me to call the Poison line! Like your dog, this isn't the first mischief she's gotten into. Chocolates, thyroid pills (like half a bottle), dead animals... she's Trouble with a capital T.

I am glad she made it through the night also, I'm sure she'll be just fine.
I had to call poison control for my dog once, when he was a puppy and ate a tube of super glue!

I also had to call poison control, Bear ate an entire tube of lime green zinc sunblock....what a mess!
