My Steamboy Steamer Stinks

Rec'd the Steamboy steamer this Christmas. It now stinks when I use it. How can I stop the stink???

I would say try using vinegar and see what happens? I am not sure if you can add it to your reservoir and then run it through like a cycle, but that should do the trick *I hope*, we put it in our steam cleaner and it works just fine. HTH
