We got to the Dolphin about 1PM on 12/5. The hotel had switched us from the Swan to the Dolphin and given us an upgrade to compensate, so we had a lake view room. It was pretty nice! We were in 5057 East. It was roomy enough with the kids being 10,7 and 4, but I could see down the road how someone would need to sleep on the floor.
It was real decent for $129 (teacher rate). They accepted my teacher ID as proof--I had stupidly put my certificate in a suitcase that was over at bell services and didn't want to run over there to get it. This was a trip where we were just sleeping in the room--we never were able to swim because the one day I thought we might have a chance it was bone chilling cold. We did also use Tubbi's twice for breakfast and the Dolphin Fountain for a very late dinner once. The lobby was pretty with the tree, etc. and I just figured out I never took a picture of it :( . Oh well. I would recommend it to any teacher who can get this good rate.

Thanks for your review of the Dolphin!

I'm glad you liked the resort. It is a great deal for teachers, nurses and gv't employees!

You're right about sleeping on the floor. My two teenage sons took turns sleeping on the floor. Two of them could not fit comfortably in the dbl bed. They didn't mind much - we rigged up a cushiony "mattress" with the bedspread and a sheet.
