We got to the Dolphin about 1PM on 12/5. The hotel had switched us from the Swan to the Dolphin and given us an upgrade to compensate, so we had a lake view room. It was pretty nice! We were in 5057 East. It was roomy enough with the kids being 10,7 and 4, but I could see down the road how someone would need to sleep on the floor.
It was real decent for $129 (teacher rate). They accepted my teacher ID as proof--I had stupidly put my certificate in a suitcase that was over at bell services and didn't want to run over there to get it. This was a trip where we were just sleeping in the room--we never were able to swim because the one day I thought we might have a chance it was bone chilling cold. We did also use Tubbi's twice for breakfast and the Dolphin Fountain for a very late dinner once. The lobby was pretty with the tree, etc. and I just figured out I never took a picture of it
. Oh well. I would recommend it to any teacher who can get this good rate.
