Thanks for the review! I think we are paying close to $300 a night for a suite (there are 6 of us)... I hope to utilize some of the hotel features to justify that cost in my mind.
Nice reviews. We stayed at Marriotts Royal Palms across the street earlier this year and I have to agree that both have great locations for getting into Disney and onto I4. Not having to drive on 535 (Apopka Vineland Rd) and all that traffic was great!
Also, for those who didn't know, there's a Sam's Club just a bit past Wal-Mart.
we too are staying two nights before our 5 night stay at Contemporary. Cant wait!!! We dont plan on doing parks on these 2 nights it is strictly for Nick.
Great information, thank you to all who posted so far!
I am starting my research on our next Orlando trip....I DETEST being nicleled and dimed on vacation!! So, before I book, can you all enlighten me on what types of things are free at Nick and what are NOT??
The whole pool area is free, I hope!
Is there a cost to participate in the shows?
Sliming is free?
I know the arcade charges...is it more than a normal arcade?
DH, DS7, DD1 and I will be staying here 4 nights in August followed by 4 nights at RPR. We got $99.50 per night for a 1-bedroom suite through the Entertainment Book (the $79.50 studios were all gone). That includes the resort fee but not the tax so it came to $546 for 4 nights. I'm pleased and think it will be fun!
