Connor 8 months. My baby and my heart. We did a baby swap with Aunt Mandy for Hunter. What was I thinking????
So here we leave at 8:00 here.
We were driving to Baldwin, Florida to meet up with my sister and do the infamous Baby Swap.
I wasnt feeling too hot and had a temperature on the way down. We met up with my sister and did the swap around 2:30 ish and were was back on the road by 3:30. I figured we would be in Orlando at the hotel by 6 at the latest. Boy was I wrong!!! We hit Spring Break traffic on the way towards Daytona Beach and were in a Traffic Jam for 4yes I said 4 hours!!!!! It took us four hours to go approximately 30 miles.
I was sick, the kids were fussy and we just wanted to be there. We were staying at the All Star Movies.
We finally got into the hotel and checked in about 8:30 only to be hitting change of shift, so it took forever for us to get our room and get there. The hotel was great. When you walked in there was a TV area to watch movies (Disney of course) and another area to color. They were great with the kids, giving out stickers and balloons. When Lizzie threw a fit. ( in her defense she was extremely tired)
they came over and gave her a BUNCH more stickers. The room was nice. I didnt feel it was too small..all we did really was sleep there and mousekeeping was great about bringing me an extra blanket quickly when I called for it. I promptly took Nyquil, got in bed,
and Steven took the kids down to the food court.
