My sparkly name, created using the guidelines listed here...and hosted by imageshack, just doesn't sparkle as pretty and fast as others using the same hosting service and what I recognize as the same glitter. Any ideas? It would be so much prettier if it sparkled like it should! Also, I know I have a few links/images here...but that seems to be the norm. :flower:

Thanks in advance!

i had this same problem
in magicstudio (or whatever the last step was)...did you click "output"...then select .gif then "create output"?

i missed that step and had a slooooooow siggy.

Thanks for the response! I'm not sure if I did that so I'll go back and check! :badpc:

Stinkerbelle! You did it! Thank you thank you thank you!! I'm so happy! :worship:

Not a problem! Like I said, I had the exact same issue...there's a thread around here where someone laid it all out step by step. That's where I caught my error (skipping that 'output' step).

it's dang addicting! heheheh

enjoy your new siggy! :) It's so purty!

The instructions are in this thread:

Glitter Name

Scroll down to message number 11 but don't miss that last little step (see above).

Also, there are some instructions on eBay at:

eBay Glitter Name

Have fun!

I love the glittery names, too, but where do you all get the cool glittery pictures (mouse ears, etc.), especially those where only part of the picture glitters? Neat!! :earboy2:

Well, the key to being able to do the pictures is having a transparent background on the picture. The mouse ears I had was a transparent background. I uploaded it to my photobucket account, copied the properties and did the image magic thing. I have no idea though, how to make a background transparent on a picture. I tried using paintshop, but didn't know how to drag the image to where i needed to.

Hi, Slow! Just responding to the title of your thread.

It's all fun and games until one of us ends up having a seizure from all of that blinking....;) Just kidding, very pretty....
