My son ~ the St. Bernard puppy

My oldest beautiful son is 13 years old ~ but he's 5'8"and 145LBS of solid muscle.

I call this stage the St. Bernard puppy stage because his body is so big, but his brain still thinks he's little.
So when he's jumping around and trying to climb things he did when he was 5~ it doesn't work so well with an adult sized body.

Man I've got to find an outlet for all this energy. (his not mine)

My son is going through the toddler/preschool version of this. He just turned 3 but is as big as his 5 year old cousins. He is solid and does not understand why the other kids get airplane rides and he doesn't.

My 16 year old DS is going through the Eat us out of house and home stage. Of course his 9 year old brother is going through it at the same time

Well, as long as he doesn't start drooling on the furniture ...

(DS has hit the same stage, but he's so thin he's more like a baby Giraffe.)

I love this! We used to have a Saint (R.I.P., he was the best) and when he was a puppy we used to say he was like a an 11 yo boy that hadn't grown into his feet yet. He used to trip over his huge paws all the time.

I now have a 4' 2" 90 lb 6yo DS. The kid is solid I can only imagine what he'll look like at your son's age.
