My oldest (16) started a yardworking business with his 2 best friends last summer. They now have a web page, a flyer -with coupons and testimonials from customers, and enough work that my DS13 is getting their overflow business. He's talking about investing his money in "something that will earn him higher interest" . Wow! When I was his age the only interest I had was in boys
