My son, who was almost three when we visited DL in August, loved the Tea Cups. It really surprised me because its not the tamest ride. But he went on it 3 times.

I should point out that was with no extra spinning, but still, he just laughed and pointed at the moon, and had a blast.

Not what I expected to be his favorite, but its great to see him have so much fun.

raidermatt,
My son too loves the tea cups. He's only 2 and wants to ride them all the time, last time i video taped our ride and it really turned out good. try it. the combo of the music, laughter and the spinning is classic.

your son has great taste ! This has always been one of my favorite rides. At parade time wait until you hear the music, then get in line. You will see about half of the parade in line, and the other half while on the ride:)

When we were there in June my 4 year old niece fell maddly in love with the Tea Cups. We rode it over and over and over and over. She was sooooo good at getting another ride. She would say, "Auntie, lets do the the tea cups." then a few minutes after she rode with Auntie, approach her father and ask him. Then corner her mom and even her big sister and also suggest that everybody could get in separate cups and ride, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion, Mortimer.

And thanks to everyone for the other comments.

Its a good thing I have a "thrill ride" stomach. I'm sure my son will soon want to start spinning the wheel, and my wife can't handle it without the extra spinning! Something tells me I have some dizzy days to look forward to... (and I definitely am looking forward to them :) )
