My son is a Disney-phile!

So my in-laws left for Disney today, to celebrate their 40th anniversary. They are by no means Disney freaks like we are, but they do like it there.
So they just called to tell us that they arrived safely and are all checked in.
So my six year old son, is saying in the background as I am talking to them "Mama, make sure you tell them about the Photopass, make sure you tell them about the Photopass! They need to have pictures of their trip!"
How funny is that, that a six year old would be worried about them not getting a Photopass!
He did me proud!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah.
Well my 10 yo son is writing his own tour guide book.
Complete with fold out maps, old room keys, copies of Disney$ , etc...
3 weeks ago I thought he was in his room working on his science project that was due in 2 days & instead he comes out with this binder.

I was kinda proud & kinda worried though.

I hope I am not spending too much time trip planning. On the one hand it's nice to have a common interest w/ your son as they enter those scary pre-teen/tween years. And on the other I don't want him to get his priorities confused.

Parenting is the ultimate roller coaster ride!

Our DS2 already asks us on a regular business when we will be going to "Mickey's House" again. I think we've gotten him infected with the disease at a very young age.
