My son is one of those picky kids who has issues every morning with his socks and how they fit -- they're either too loose or too tight and it takes up to 30 minutes to get his socks and shoes on exactly right.
I've heard that this is an issue with other kids and was wondering if anyone on DIS has the same issue and if anyone has found socks that worked for them. My hope is that if enough people say the same brand, I might try it for my son or he'll be wearing flip flops year round!

I very often turn my own socks inside out since they tend to be more comfortable that way (the part near my toe is towards my shoe, so not poking my toe). My son has one brand that he likes a lot--I think Adidas. They aren't the thinner socks, which is kind of surprising. He used to wear Old Navy socks when he was younger. Also, make sure the socks aren't too big so there's extra material. Since he doesn't like them too tight, maybe ones with more elastic would work better for him. I think the ones I wear are Adidas (now I'm questioning if that's the brand my son wears...). I know I got them all at Kohl's. When you look at them, stick your hand down into the sock and make sure there's not too much material at the toe, assuming that's what's bothering him (that's what bothers my son and me and used to bother my DD).

) but at least she wears jeans now... but the sock issue goes on. I am seriously considering men's socks for my next purchase, they don't seem to have the stretchy tight feeling that women's do, and they come in bigger sizes.
