My son got scammed!

First off I have told him several times to not trust anyone especially for the big trading stuff unless you have a CL with you to help out.. But he is young and didn't listen and I wasn't around to help him!! I was so excited that he just got Sparrow yesterday and was going to try to get Stitch Hat with it. Well someone on his friend's list said they would trade him Sparrow, 5* Fireworks, 5* Coin Magic and several other items for Stitch hat.. This person said they would give the Stitch Hat to their friend to trade and silly son instead of having someone else hold his items for the trade gave them directly to the person he was trading with.. She then promptly left the room and deleted him from her friend list! He was so upset to have lost his Sparrow suit and other items.. We tried to call for help right away but no one from VMK came or answered!!!

Is there anything we can do? Some of you may know my son, Shadowkevin!

As for anything you can do, the most you can do is send a mesage in to vmk and hope that they will do something about it.

It is almost surely our own neighborood scammer, generic weird names. I'm sure they aren't the person's actual characters.

That is so totally heartless. I try to help out ppl as much as I can with trades and hearing stuff like that really makes me sick. Please also PM me the name of this individual. I've been a lurker on this board for awhile now and a VMK'er since Day 1.

Thanks everyone for your kind words and I think I have PM'ed everyone who has asked for the names so far!! They better hide because if I find them on VMK they will feel a mother's madness... LOL Scamming a poor little boy out of his Sparrow and other items is just not right!!

try reporting it to 'contact us', thats what my brother did when he got scammed and about 2 months later all his stuff that he had lost were in his inventory.

I know firsthand what it is like to be scammed. Send me a pm with the list of items your son lost and I'll try to help out. You will find Dis members are very caring and generous when something goes wrong for you, and I and trying to extend the same generosity shown to me by board members.
