We have rented a 2 bedroom villa at BCV. I am concerned about the lack of services. I don't mind washing towels but will there be enough soap, trash bags and most importantly can I get room service?I love traveling with my children and grandchildren but don't want to give up my luxuries.

You can get as many services as you want, you just have to pay for them. Get trash and towel service for $10.00 per day and most of what you are worried about will be taken care of. We get this service and it really works out well for us.

If you decide to wash your own towels, then you need to bring some laundry detergent. They start you off with one box. I would imagine you can get room service at the BCV. You can at the BWV.

Trash and towel service comes on your 4th day, and they replenish soaps, coffee, etc. plus give you fresh towels and empty the trash.

On our recent stay at BCV, we ran out of Kleenex. When they called housekeeping, they brought us 2 more boxes at no charge. I have a feeling they would do the same thing if you needed extra trash bags before the 4th day rolled around.

I had no problems with towels during my stay. they give you plenty in the room and if you go to the pool there will be towels there for you to use. Don't bring your room towels down to the pool. I used the same towel every day until they brought new ones, I figured I am only drying water off my body, not cleaning the floor with them.
I did run out of garbage bags the 2nd day and just went out in the hall and found a CM who was dleaning another room. I asked her for some bags and she gladly gave them to me.
One thing I really hate is the fact that some people take their garbage out and leave it in the hall. They have rooms all over each resort to leave your trash, bottles and cans, and papers. It is not a long walk, why can someone walk all over the parks and then can't walk a little bit to put the garbage in the room? I understand the trays for room service, but the garbage?
I always bring some clothes soap with me. It is so easy since they started making those little soap pellets again. I also bring a really small bottle of softener because I like my clothes with that in the wash. You can buy laundry soap downstairs in the laundry but it is $100 for each load. Peggie

They usually keep extra trash bags on the bottom of the trash cans in the room. So after you lift the full bag out, you just grab an empty bag from the bottom. We just automatically empty the trash cans into the one in the kitchen and then take the bag out each morning when we head out. At OKW, they have trash rooms on the first floor area, in the inside corridor resorts there's a room with big cans to drop your bag into.

I always pack a bar of soap for each bathroom, throw in coffee that is prepackaged in filters, salt and pepper, and tide tablets with dryer sheets in a ziploc bag. All of this takes very little room in the suitcase. LIke a previous poster said, there are tons of garbage sacks in the bottom of each trash can for your use. I actually like not having someone in my room each day "tidying up". In fact, I usually cancel the trash and towel day. (we are late sleepers). I wash towels each day while there and empty the trash in the proper place provided on each hall. There is a very nice room service menu. Enjoy!

Wow! That's expensive laundry soap!!! :p ;) :p

You will not be giving up any luxuries by staying at BCV, you will be sitting in the lap of luxury. BCV is a beautiful, deluxe, top of the line resort with full deluxe resort amenities that is located in one of the 2 most desirable/prime real estate locations at WDW. (MK area, Epcot/MGM area) Enjoy!

Believe me, you will not miss the mousekeeping service as bad as you think you will. We just stayed at WLV, our home resort for the first time recently and over a five night stay we had trash and towel service 1 day. There were plenty of towels for us 4 in a studio and the trash didnt pile up. When my DW first heard of this, she looked at me like I was crazy for buying in to such a silly thing, BUT it turns out to be a blessing in disguise, you dont feel like you have hurry up and get out of the room every morning.

Try it, youll like it! Boy that sure sounds 70ish.

Well, if you're staying in a two-bedroom accommodation, plan on taking laundry soap but far fewer clothes . It is so convenient to throw a load of laundry in overnight and have less to pack and carry in luggage, unless you go wild on souveinirs.(sp?) But then, that's just an opinion.

The OP said that they were "renting" a two bedroom. I'm not sure if that means they're renting points or paying cash through CRO.
If they're renting points, all the DVC stuff mentioned above applies. If they're paying cash, all the amenities of a regular deluxe resort apply including daily maid service.
