Day 3 9-12
Wake up to the kid next door screaming. I finally yell something and it didn’t help any. Got up to go to Blizzard Beach. I didn’t really feel liked doing anything but I figured I should. I put on my pink sunglasses and I realized I was a cliché (Look at the World through Rose Colored Glasses or something similar). It was a bit chillier that day and there was no humidity. I got there, they checked my bag, rented a locker and then went to the Castaway Creek. Took one revolution around it and got out. Saw a slide that looked fun but I think it was a children’s ride! Oops! Anyways I walked up the stairs to get to the Slush Gusher. Went down it! Man that thing HURTS not to mention the major wedgie you get! I figured I may as well go on Summit Plummet and so I trekked back up the hill and went down that one too…same experience, stinging water and major wedgie! I went back on a few other slides and ended up in the wave pool. At that point I decided it was time to go. SO I got back on the bus and headed back to CSR. I then got redressed in dry clothes and headed back to AK. I was starting to see more love bugs at this point. Not too bothersome though. Arrived at AK, bag checked again, and went straight to the Lion King show. It was amazing! Got goose bumps. Then I went back to the Tarzan show. I didn’t feel like I had missed anything good the day before. Walked over to Dinosaur from there. I was very nervous on this ride. After the tragedy I seem to have acquired this stupid afraid of the dark thing. I slept with the TV on every night and on all dark rides I was completely consumed with fear. This ride being one of them. I had my eyes closed half the time plus I was worried about when the Dinosaur was going to pop out at me. Wasn’t a great experience. At this point it was already 4 and I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it to the Safari. Luckily I did and there was only a 3 minute wait. I loved it. I couldn’t believe how close the animals got to the car. I left and went back to CSR again to get a new camera and was back off to Epcot WS. Bag check again at the gate (feeling pretty safe). I got to Canada and had to try a beavertail. I got apple and cinnamon and that thing was so messy. Plus trying to eat it while it’s windy and not having a table didn’t help much. I finished half of it… I didn’t think that was too bad. I walked through all the countries stopping in each to look around. I stopped in Italy to watch a show… I don’t quite know what it was but the cast was all dressed up and they had masks on. Looked like a King, Queen, Jester, Prince, Wizard, and a Court Assistant or something. Anyways they were pretty funny and the Prince gave me a carnation J I was starting to get hungry and so I stopped in China at the Lotus Blossom Café. It was counter service and pretty cheap for GREAT food. I had the Lotus Combo, which was Sweet and Sour Chicken, an Egg Roll and Fried Rice. Very tasty. I was starting to get tired but my feet didn’t hurt! Yay! Thanks to you guys I had good shoes J I went onto Norway and onto Maelstrom. I didn’t realize they make you wait to see the show…I don’t think others did too because people were starting to get irritated! I don’t think anyone stayed to watch he movie. Went on to Living Seas. Another thing I really enjoyed…. I bought a gigantic stuffed manatee that I named Merlin…he has been very comforting to me the last few days J I had a lot of stuff with me at this point so I decided to go back. 3 parks in one day is too much!

Busy day! (sometimes the water parks sound great, but don't always live up to the hype!)

I'm really enjoying your reports! As a solo traveler myself, I love reading others reports! It sounds like you're having a great time. :) Note: that show you saw in Italy is called Masquerade. I have a few friends that perform in that show, and I have to see it at least once per trip. :)

The Lion King show at AK gave me chills as well. It was one of my favorites during our last trip. Thanks for posting your reports...they're a wonderful diversion from reality right now. :)

Three parks in one day, pretty commendable... I hope Merlin gave you some comfort. Those beavertails can be quite large, my husband always finishes his, you did well to do half.. Thanks for posting

3 parks in one day must have been exhausting. I never wait for the movie in Norway either :)

Thanks for posting this.

It sure sounds like you had a busy day! We've done 4 parks in one day and that is verrrry tiring!
