My sister was banned and so am I?

So, my sister was reported the other day. Appearantly a boy was making fun of people in a room so she told him to go away and he reported her. As a result she was banned for an indefinite period. However, now when I go to log on, it says our IP Address is banned...how in the name of Walt is this fair? I mean, first off, my sister didn't even do anything, but now the rest of us are punished too? This doesn't seem like a fair way to go about this.

Any suggestions?

Hi Princess. Do you know for a fact this is why she was banned? You can use the contact us option if not and they will give you the exact reason.

If you were banned too, you should contact VMK yourself via their website as well as phone and let them know that your bad was unfair and you would like to request it be reversed and removed from your VMK record.

That's the weird part, I haven't been on since Halloween, and I usually don't really talk to anyone.
Just aggravating, that's all. I didn't know they were banning IP addresses now.

First: I just wanted to write I deleted a couple of posts in this thread. We do not permit discussing ways to get out of an IP ban.

You should use the contact us option to first determine for sure why there is an IP ban at all. You should also use that same option to see if your account was also banned. If your account was not, you should take that up with VMK.

If your sisters account was banned, and you feel it unfair you should challenge the ban and have it removed from her record.

But I think what they do is fair. Even though it is bad in some ways, people would be banned and just makek another account.

I found out the hard way that vmk does ban by accidents sometimes. I was banned over a month ago by accident and received several emails next day from vmk. I was being harrassed by a player, reported them, and the big white net caught me by mistake. So it was removed from my record.

It pays to write to vmk, trust me.
