I'm so excited! I wish I could have been there too! Only a couple more weeks. Luckily the photopass photographer was there and took a lot of pictures, so I can add them to my Photopass CD for them.

Details, we want details!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Where were they exactly?

Congratulations to your DS & her now DF!:love:

Congrats to your sister.:woohoo: So good to hear something positive for a change. To much negativity lately.

In front of the castle of course! I guess he was going to wait until the fireworks later, but was in front of the castle, saw the photopass photographer and discreetly told him what he was going to do.

My sister was very surprised. She had no idea and I've known about this ring for months! It was so hard to keep it a secret. He bought it before valentine's day, when he bought her a valentine's ring.

He's a really great guy and the ONLY one that she has dated that I have liked. Now I just have to convince them to get married at Disney. We had some Disney theming at our wedding (cake and card box) and a Disney honeymoon, but not the Disney wedding....

I'm debating sending flowers or a fruit arrangement to their hotel or just sending a gift that they'll get when they get home. Any suggestions?

That's wonderful! I would have loved to get proposed to in front of the castle. :lovestruc

Me too! DH proposed on a cabin deck after the horse and carriage ride he scheduled cancelled. Still wonderful and romantic, but in front of the castle :wizard:

My Mom was able to get chocolate covered strawberries sent to my Uncle and Aunt for their anniversary at the AKL. I'd call and ask the hotel they're at. Then the hotel knows the big news too!

The strawberries (or a lil snack) are a good idea, but no flowers...afterall, how will they get them home!!!!

Maybe you can call and see about getting bride and groom ears sent to their room?!?!

How exciting! :goodvibes I was proposed to (by a now ex) at the Poly at Sunset Point at night. It was beautiful and very romantic! Disney is the BEST place to propose!

They aren't at a Disney hotel. They are staying in a condo in Daytona. They were only there for 1 day. The strawberries are a good idea, but since they are leaving on Saturday, I think I am just going to send something home to them.

Have something at home for them...

I did our proposal on top of Wilderness Lodge during Wishes. They usually take a family up in the morning to raise the flags... but it was a special treat to go up at night. The manager even had sparkling cider and two cakes for us, a white cake and a chocolate cake. Both to die for. We also had 10 of our friends up there waiting before we got up there. Talk about nerve recking walking up those flights of stairs. And of course one of our friends is a photopass photographer as well... so no charge there.
I want to stay there again for our one year proposal anniversary, and I found out the manager that helped me out is still working there, so I'd like to do something nice for him.

That is a great idea! I'm sure they would do something special.
