I want to reiterate everyone's sentiments here as well. You don't owe anyone an apology and there was nothing at all wrong with what you posted.

The person responsible for hijacking that thread had no interest in your point - he was using it simply as a vehicle to spew more of his nonsense. He has an agenda (as was superbly brought to light by John) and your post gave him the opening he needed / has been waiting for.

I sincerely hope you won't give any power or credibility that kind of person by 're-lurking'. You're welcome to be here, and please know that we value genuine, agenda-free feedback from our listeners and always have.

Absolutely no need for apologies. Threads are hijacked very often so don't let that discourage you. I love nothing more than hearing everyone's take on a subject. It's just a shame that sometimes those differing opinions (not yours) may be used for narcissistic purposes.

I want to tell you that I REALLY feel you owe no apology for what you said at all. If the conversation had been left to your topic alone, I feel that it could have not only have been very helpful feedback, but also a very healthy discussion among board members. I was truly sad, especially for you, that the rest of the thread went on the path it did. It is others who should be apologizing to you for turning the thread into what it became.
